This was really cool Mike, I'm sort of a history geek and my Grandfather on my Dad's side was a watch maker. The tools he used are so very interesting and tiny:) Thank you for the trip!

Thaanks, Mike. I lived near Lord's Park in the '80s and I found the history of the town fascinating. I moved to Jacksonville, Fl and while prousing in a used book store, I found a book with copious photoes, about the trolley that ran along the Fox River, from Elgin to St. Charles. Lords Park also housed small museum and was a nice place for people to enjoy ine outsoors. At the time, the park had a small zoo, including a lion. There was a great deal of excitement over it's arrival and a contest to name the lion was held. The winning entry was Lord Spark in honor the Lord's Park. Oh, fyi, there used to be, I don't know if it is still there, a small railroad in Union Il, near Woodstock Illinois. Even had a restored private car. Nice.😅
