Bobby Prince loved Metallica too much not to make a Doom opener in the style of the Master of Puppets. This was always clear. I listened to this track and thought, E1M1 seemed to have an original solo. But no, it was in "I Sawed The Demons" and "Running From Evil".

the E1M1 riff is actually ripped off No Remorse verse riff. But it's quite hidden beneath the vocals so people usually assume the E1M1 riff is from Master of Puppets

​@@elguitarTom I wasn't talking about the riff, but about the style and general feeling of the E1M1. She is much closer to the Master than to No Remorse. And about my feelings that it seems like there should be a solo, but there isn’t. Because I played Doom a long time ago and forgot that the solo was in another composition.

But if you play guitar and make music you will know that it is totally ripped off No Remorse. Even the harmony parts in E1M1 is excactly notes from No Remorse. @@elguitarTom technically, what you say is correct. Here I agree. I play the guitar and write music myself. But I was talking about my feel for E1M1, not about the riff and harmonic notes, which are undoubtedly copied from No Remorse. Maybe I just love Master more than No Remorse))
