The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Friday, ahead of their gig at Sound Hollywood, we welcome the London-based duo Eli & Fur.
In 2015, Eli & Fur released some massive house hits 'Seeing Is Believing' on Defected and 'Feel The Fire' on Anjunadeep. They've played alongside Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Dennis Ferrer and Seth Troxler, and hit the decks at Creamfields, Bestival, Glastonbury and more.
They've just embarked on their North American tour and plan to document their journey the whole way through. They're fresh off of BPM, and we're happy to welcome them to LA before they smash Sound Hollywood Friday night, alongside Gina Turner and Lupe Fuentes.
The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together.

Damn!!! They're killin' it!!! Discovered yesterday and have explored it at least 10 times through already. Masters at deep moody uplifting chill cerebral tactile house fosho!!! Could add more descriptors but would be at it for an hour. Unbelievable. Hope they play Detroit at movement next year or at a pre or after party at least. Think they replaced my favorite go to for transcendental music experiences. And yeah, about the crowd... I noticed a lot of the Mixmag Lab crowds seem almost jaded or there for another reason. Me, I'd have been tripping with Lucy in my own universe dancing my ass off!
