@AmRealityInc that's interesting. Cause I'm pretty sure what Eli meant was Sympathy for Mr Vengeance. That's a 2002 Korean film. He said he was inspired by it and made Hostel (2005). And Squid Game is a Korean series (2021) that was inspired by Hostel. And that's what he meant by it went full circle. Nic Cage's Sympathy for the Devil was just released this year... so that's why I asked. It wouldn't make sense for Eli to be inspired by this and then make Hostel. Unless you're suggesting Eli is a time traveller. Are you?

Eli Roth - what a legend man. This ep was absolute gold. Hostel was one of my favorite films as an adolescent and really elevated my love of horror flicks. Loved hearing about the behind the scenes of Inglorious Basterds and the full circle connection of hostel to Korean thrillers. Damn please have him back and/or ask him to get Quentin 🙏🙏

Eli is so right about Love. So underrated. Love brought me to all things Bobby Lee. From his first scene in season one I was like “who is THAT guy?!?” To his own episode in season two, with his weird dispute with his OP gf (was that based on real life?lol) I have to know everything about this guy. After googling Bobby Lee the first thing I clicked on was his Hot Ones interview, where you realise this guy is wild at heart and weird on top! And also introduced Tigerbelly. And the rest, as they say, is history x
