Randomly started reading the Bible recently no religious reason persay but I thoroughly enjoyed this story I just finished it earlier Glad I found this channel to sum up my stories after I read them the words are sometimes hard to comprehend

The lesson of this story is that parents should correct their children at an early age before they cause their downfall. Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them that’s(Proverbs 13:24). One who neglects to discipline his children puts self before his children and in reality would be hating his child. Patient, persistent discipline is an expression of affection, why? because the Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son

Eli was high priest, that made difference with God, God doesn't like strange fire. Aarron 2 son's, old testament, God killed his 2 eldest sons, because they messed with strange fire. I believe his 2 sons put camel or cow chips/dung, in fire altar, and God anger raged. Its false religion, get the picture. Remember back in exodus, when moses when top of mount Sinai's, children of Israel had high priest, Aaron , build golden calf, God wanted to kill all of them, including high priest Aaron. Its False Religion!!!. God hates false preachers, and tradition of men, false doctrine. Aaron made excuses to moses when confronted, remember, Aaron was high priest, and moses stood his ground and wouldn't have any of Aaron nonsense. God doesn't like strange fire!!. Back to high priest Eli, his 2 wicked son's practiced strange fire, its false religion. Eli made no attempt to correct his sons, he turned blind eye to their wicked ways. God held Eli accountable. Samuel the prophet is one of God's elect, set aside one. The prophets, apostles and elect are equal, get the picture. Jeremiah chapter 1, God told Jeremiah, he ordained him prophet to the nations, before he was ever in his mom's womb, God chose him prophet, hes predestined, like the apostles and Election. Their is low life, antichrist, hes coming near future, and will say hes Jesus, high priest melchizedek, king and priest of Salem. In genesis chapter 14:18. Abraham tithes tenth of his goods to high priest melchizedek (Jesus). Antichrist will claim to be that high priest, if your biblically illiterate, I strongly suggest studying the bible. If you worship the wrong king and priest of Salem, its ticket to hell. Study the bible.

I like your breakdown, it made me think of Esau & Jacob because Jacob basically conned his brother & Dad for a blessing & God still favoured him, then I realised it wasnt stealing or tricking God (I still dont see Jacob as a good person tho). However it is sad to hear God punish many because of a few wrongdoers. We have to vote for politicians & follow laws of the land so that means we are doomed too. It can leave one feeling like This life ain't worth fighting for.

I guess you have never heard the famous saying . He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who perpetrates it . You cannot be in power and tolerate evil. If Eli had spoken against his son's evil doing , he wouldn't have been punished. Do you think that God is a respecter of persons ? What goes for one person , goes for all.. That shows that God is not a hypocrite. l love the God l serve , He does whatsoever pleases Him , that shows He is an All Powerful God.. l wouldn't want to serve a God who is weak , who people can control.

A total of 44,000 soliders + Eli died because 2 men stole sacrifices from God 🤔 abit harsh, so that means ALOT of us are doomed then... why not punish the sinners & end it there? Poor Hannah, God set her up for ridicule for years, her blessing was heartache. Then when she begged because of greif, he allowed a child she would have to get rid of.
