Eliane is one of my favorite artists, and a cornerstone of my large collection of bossa nova. I have a long list of favorite Brasilian artists, Eliane has always been at the top of my list. Within minutes of watching her video, I ordered her album. Oddly, in our large group of Brasilian family and friends, and over the years, I've become the biggest fan and collector of Brasilian jazz. I find her music intoxicating, and look forward to more from her. BTW, I'm the Americano; my wife's the Minera!

I've listened to a lot Brazilian bossa nova jazz artist and composers over the years from Jobim to many other collaborations, but Elias is a new discovery for me. She reminded me of Diana Krall, but I personally think she is even more amazing. She's now at the top of my list too.

I was eagerly waiting for her new CD. Today is the day I can get it !! It's the best season to listen her beautiful voice and excelent mood, can't wait !!

Her latest release is but more confirmation that she represents the highest expression of creative achievement, an embodiment of universal joy and love. I have 90% of all her records, starting from her first. What I dislike is her overly-powerful piano style. In this album, she has mellowed a bit. However, what I don't want to see is a replica of another overly-commercialized Diana Krall.
