From the reference photo I see a strip of blue under the white line that marks the beach and that breaks the dry land and the reflection of the trees that are reflected on the surface of the water. I think this piece was interesting but what happens to all of the paint at the end? Do you discard it? Also I noticed you wiping your brushes in some liquid, was that water? I don’t know but why didn’t you go for emphasizing the trees at the back?
