That was hilarious! I thought when Lari said, "Go there!" he meant like the bathroom or his bedroom- not the end of the couch. But let's cut him some slack- he's been under a lot of pressure lately, and like Janne said in a previous video, Elias has a certain distracting effect on him. ;)

I always though that Lari's dad would be accepting and supporting at the end. He didn't react with disgust or shock to what he witnessed. And I believe he is now trying to help Lari gather the courage to come out on his own.

The boys are so ADORABLE!! Maybe its just me, but Lari's dad doesn't seem so bad. He is actually starting to grow on me. Grabbed his wallet and left them to make out. The look on Lari's father's face at the end says he know, but just doesn't want to admit it.

Thanks to the writers. They are working very hard to make this the most real show in the world. Seems more like a good movie than an American Soap ever has. Although Will and Sonny has gotten much better - their writers are to scared to be consistant. Ilkka seems like a nice man that truly loves his son and will have to deal with a lot of his macho atitude in changing. Luckily - no one can resist Elias. His is an open special soul full of life and love for others. Thanks Miss F !!!!

Since Jan 1999, says Wiki. It's the 2nd longest running Finnish soap. It's now so popular that they did a Salutat Elamat "spinoff" movie in Dec 2012. A "Teen thriller movie called "Nightmare - Painajainen merellä" ("Nightmare - Horror at Sea") was one of the most watched Finnish films in 2012" - Wiki. Unfortunately our boys were not part of it but, "Joonathan" was - so we know it was a pretty picture, at least. It also received a kind of "People's choice" award.

Wow, this is actually one of the most tense and exciting episodes in the series. Things are really getting dicey now. It is going to be very interesting to see how Lari's father works his way through this. I wonder if he is trying to get Lari to come out and tell him, or if perhaps the father is in the "it's just a phase" state of denial. Really, this is seriously dramatic. I can't wait to find out where it goes.

I think even Lari is surprised how deeply he has fallen in love with Elias; when he says to him I love you so much. llkka is understanding all this but trying to put more macho front to it. by helping Lari find girlfriend. Lovely love story for cute boys.

For this soap in particular, there were (and still are) so many opportunity for drama. Even not counting the conflicts Lari had with accepting himself, there is the issue with Lari bullying Talle and subsequently forgiven and accepted by him, then the you-are-dating-my-ex with Ida, oh and Ida's betrayal. I'd like to see some of that, at least that would be fresh.

Well - if Lari's dad didn't know before, he certainly does now ! His son in the arms of another boy - what else could it be ! Certainly not mouth to mouth resuscitation - especially with tongues involved.... The writers have dealt with the storylines very well. The difficulty that Lari had in coming to terms with his feelings and getting used to the 'whole gay thing', plus the chemistry between the two boys is excellent.

I like this episode because of the issue of masculinity I think Lari's dad fears he no longer will have a close connection to his son because he's gay. Some fathers have this fear, I also think some dads worry they didn't do a good job of raising their sons and that's why they are gay. Some dads are also concerned about how masculine their sons are and if they have taught their sons to be manly. Masculinity seems to be a theme of this episode.

I think before catching Lari and Elias in that passionate moment deep down he knew there was something different about Lari and seeing them embrace he knew that was it. You hear all the time parents say they knew their son or daughter was gay or lesbian and I think that's the same for Lari's dad he just doesn't wanna admit it or accept it just yet.
