Oh man, I remember talking about this with a friend when Larias got back together, that watch and see, they're gonna kill one of them off. And, they did. I've watched so many of these gay soaps and NONE, NOT A ONE has ended with the couples remaining together. Well, one more soap for me to stop watching. The end of Larias makes me nostalgic. I remember I watched their story back on December of 2016. I watched all recent episodes for just one night and I never slept, ate breakfast and lunch. I was done watching in the afternoon. Someday, I'm gonna stumble upon this great love story again and I'll watch it again like it's my first time. It is heart braking that their story has ended you must be hurting so much. You alone have the credit for making the world fall in love with Larias by taking their story global. Despite the story was totally ruined after Elia´s death, knowing that it will soon end makes me nostalgious. I recall coming across this story line back in mid 2014 while living in Brazil for a while, I used to spend my weekends alone, locked in my apartment since I had no friends nor family to hang out with, I watched like 100+ episodes in one weekend, that was crazy. Good memories indeed, I think this story was incorrectly conducted by the writers since the very beginning.

When in June 2016 Petteri (Elias) has left the soap, they said, and he confirmed, that he did this to dedicate himself to a job in real estate sales. It seems, however, that he was forced to go away for some reason. Of course, so the story could not continue and then they had to come out even Lari. The choice on how to make out Elias is the most idiot imaginable. After finally reunited the couple, they immediately killed Elias so horrendously! Why, as in many other stories in the world, they could not, at most, let out both together in a happier way? Why choose a so tragically way, after two years of waiting for the reunion? Perhaps it is due to the evident homophobia of the writers and their boss, who wanted that the story ended three years ago when Elias left Lari? It seems like a revenge against audience who insisted that they returned together. italiano Quando nel giugno 2016 Petteri (Elias) ha lasciato la soap, hanno detto, e anche lui ha confermato, che lui ha fatto questo per dedicarsi ad un lavoro di compravendite immobiliari. Sembra, invece, che sia stato costretto ad andare via per qualche ragione. Naturalmente così la storia non poteva continuare e successivamente hanno dovuto far uscire anche Lari. La scelta sul modo di far uscire Elias è quanto di più idiota si potesse immaginare. Dopo aver finalmente riunito la coppia, hanno immediatamente ammazzato Elias così orrendamente! Perché, come in molte altre storie nel mondo, non potevano, al massimo, far uscire insieme entrambi in un modo più felice? Perché scegliere un modo così tragico, dopo due anni di attesa per la riunificazione? Forse la cosa è dovuta all'evidente omofobia degli scrittori e del loro capo, il quale voleva che la storia finisse tre anni fa, quando Elias ha lasciato Lari? Sembra quasi una vendetta nei confronti dell'audience che ha insistito affinché ritornassero assieme.

Well, i can finally say that i'm done with Elias Story. I already saw the final chapters. Finally Marianna got caught. And Sadly Elias was really dad. She was arrested and Lari and Elias'dad were sad for the truth. After that Lari dreamed with Elias. Sweet moment and then he decides to go away. He says goodbye to his friends. Lari's last scene is on that same bridge he said goodbye to Elias after his death. He closes his eyes and then Elias appears, take his hand and together they keep walkinh and smiling one each other. And then, the episode was over.... I'm sad they chose that way to finish Elias and Lari's storyline....😢

To add to what has already been said here. The real tragedy is that this show early on was given great attention for its positive portrayal of gay members in a community. Instead it turned out it was unworthy of such high praise. Elias, Larias and Kalle have been treated instead as domed soles who's future are only to be filled with unhappy, loveless- lives . With no hopes of dreams and ambitions fulfilled. What a shame. The Gay & Lesbian Community should hold these people in contempt. This story and show should be used by the Gay& lesbian Community as an example of what they are up against.

It sounds weird, but I think the plot of the "Elias and Lary story" is very similar to "Física o química" (Spanish tv series: the couple Fer and David). In the 7th season of the FoQ, Fer was shot. But to be honest, there were more dramatic moments than here... There is a question: Did the writers use their imagination at all? For example, Lari could see the ghost of Elias. I guess it would be so cute and less heartbreaking for the audience. P.S It's so horrible to realize that we won't be able to see the happy ending of Elias and Laris's story :((.

Cluedo, not only holding hands but the suggestion of suicide by Larias. Wow they did not have the decency to tell the fans that look Petteri has left the show for what ever they want as a reason . But will miss him and we plan a wrap up to the story. No , instead they decided to play this charade of "O, what's going to happen, is he or isn't he" How unfair, and what insult to the fans of these characters!!! What you hope about another gay couple, maybe it's happening. But I do not think Miss Finn will post it under subtitled, considering she has not had time to do so with the final episodes. Kalle was kidnapped by the cop who works with Linda, very sexy almost a Tom of Finland, later revealed as infiltrated to arrest the true kidnappers. At the end of the kidnapping, Tom of Finland gives Kalle, released, his official business card with some very eloquent smiles and shakes his hand with further smiles, clearly evident on his intentions. italiano Quello che tu speri riguardo ad un'altra coppia gay, forse sta avverandosi. Però non credo che la miss Finn la pubblicherà sottotitolata, considerato che non ha ancora avuto tempo di farlo con gli episodi finali. Kalle è stato sequestrato dal poliziotto che lavora con Linda, molto sexy praticamente un Tom of Finland, in seguito rivelatosi come infiltrato per arrestare il vero sequestratore. I kinda expected this open ending. I think they did it so that they can still bring back lari if necessary.

Do not get your hopes up, writers, really stupid, they were looking forward to close this story that had not gone as they would have liked. in italiano Non farti troppe illusioni, gli scrittori, veramente stupidi, non vedevano l'ora di chiudere questa storia che non era andata come loro avrebbero voluto.

i don't really care about Elias, he was the most annoying charactetr on soap for ME. Anyway I just find the storylines too silly even for a soap. Come on who sleeps with someone who kidnapps their son (that kidnapp was hillariously impossible) and who can't get rid of a mobile phone? This show is commedy

Maybe because they think it is useless. Next year Salatut Elamat close completely after 18 years. Probably the writers, more and more stupid, think it is useless to start a new story for such a short time and they'll be Lari with Kalle until the end! in italaino Forse perché pensano che la cosa sia inutile. L'anno prossimo la Salatut Elamat chiuderà completamente dopo 18 anni. Probabilmente gli scrittori, sempre più stupidi, pensano sia inutile iniziare una nuova storia per così poco tempo e faranno stare Lari con Kalle fino alla fine!

Although the message mystery was solved.. but lari just dont be damn stupid and forgot ur mission... marianna still out there lively free and happy..

Kalle is not old- Lari is about the same age as Kalle when Kalle got married and his husband was both older than Kalle and was Kalle's boss in the army too- but yes sending those text messages were childish. FYI Kalle and Lari get back together a few years later, however, Kalle is still in love with someone other than Lari so Lari leaves again but on good terms with Kalle this time.
