I am so so happy to hear from you both. I personally know people in Iran that know but cannot speak freely. I know Iranians p, Palestinians, Lebanese and Egyptians who have achieved asylum and can speak. These young women especially, on the campuses, they are clueless. The world needs to hear from you, so thank you. I’m old enough to have seen what happens to civilians in an Islamic political regime. Nobody likes to see civilians die in war. It’s tragic of what happening in Gaza. It’s tragic to Americans and it’s tragic to Israelis. But, it’s essential to stop the spread of these extreme political systems. They undermine our system of free speech by getting to say whatever it is they wanna say and it’s not true and it’s not history. So freedom of speech doesn’t include turning on a free society and taking away the freedom And that’s exactly what they’redoing. Or trying to do. I I cannot fathom this praising of Hamas, Houthi, Hezbollah flags, being waived by the richest most privileged, Ivy League students, actually children, in America. It’s so ironic. It’s embarrassing.

Thanks a lot for elaborating on those rumors in the Iranian opposition against anyone who is standing up against the regime. I am so curious to hear your opinion about my explanation for that. I think it is the following mechanism which applies: 1. If you grow up in a dictatorship, there is only your own opinion and the opinion of the regime. So everything which seems strange to you comes most probably from the regime. This compas might prove itself true many times inside the dictatorship, because the regime has media and all their spies. But when you are in a democracy, where all opinions are legal, they don't get it, that their map of understanding does not work anymore. Many people who escaped Iran, might have brought their understanding with them to the west. While they were living in free countries, they built their networks based on the missunderstanding, that opinions which are diffrent are orginated by the regime or betrayel. So only people who think like them were part of their network. And so they believe that the whole Iran shares their believe - except for those ones who are from the regime. So when you finally hear something strange about those people with diffrent opinions, all your expectations get fulfilled and you immidiately believe in it. 2. During the women life freedom revolution, I expect this feeling even to become stronger. If the regime is gone, No one wants to get deceived again. But how do we protect ourselves? People in Iran never learned how to maintain a democracy. It is a bit like you have ended up in a bad car crash which an other driver made, and now it is your responsablity to savely drive the car without any experience how to do it. For some people, this is reallty scary and they tend to stick to a leader whom they believe they can trust. Anyone who does not promote that leader, makes them feel unsecure. The feeling of collective fear I think is the best climate for mumors to spread. What do you think about those explanations?

A 'culture' that murders women for being raped, punishes them for not wearing a hijab, kills gays etc. does not actually deserve the title 'culture' though. This is abusive insanity. All people have a deeper history as well - Christianity and Islam both spread through spiritual/cultural genocide, forcing people to leave behind their old ways of life and spirituality and adopting the new faith through bloody, violent force.

I have a lesson for you in Islamic Jurisprudence Taqiyya is for Shia, Muda'rat is for Sunni. They are both tactical deceit for the purpose of spreading Islam. Kitman is deceit by omission Tawriya is deceit by deliberate ambiguity Daruna is the deceit through necessity (to engage in something haram to exploit non-muslims) Taysir deceit through facilitation (I.e making things easier: telling a revert they can still drink alcohol until they are ready) Muruna is flexibility or temporary suspension of Shariah, making Muslims appear moderate until numbers are high enough to enforce Shariah.

Madam, I can assure you every word of the bible is true. This is what Paul says “Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him, “You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.”” Romans 3:4 NLT & Timothy writes this⬇️ “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT Ask God if his Bible is true. @@thegeorges2384 “Every word” ? Believe what you want but some of us have higher standards of discernment of truth. The Bible contradicts itself dozens to hundreds of times. By definition that means it is IMPOSSIBLE for EVERY word to be true. NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL. I’m sure you are likely a great and well meaning person but if you are honest with yourself you will realise you are strongly driven / biased to WANT to believe the Bible is the word of God, or inspired word. You are blind and totally incapable of impartially assessing historical accuracy of any other ‘truth’ claims of that particular book.

The Bible is truth. You need to build a relationship with your maker. I have read a lot on the history of Israel. Relics found in Israel are all Jewish. Even the first temple the Jewish people build at Shiloh has been found. Iran people are supporting Israel because they long to be freed from oppression. Why do you think bibles are not allowed in Islamic countries. Ezekiel refers to Hamas in his prophesy. Revelations is in the process of happening. Please do some reading so we can all meet in heaven with God and Jesus. Please see if you can see movie Passion of the Christ.

I've watched Bassem's mainstream interviews, some of them hours long, never have I seen him mention Egypt's Rafah Border, or the continuity of muslim brotherhood (including Arafat fighting with them in 48) and Hamas. Only about how they were literally trying to get him killed in Egypt and that's why he fleed. He wants to make his wife happy (noble cause) but its actually crazy how emotional and unreasonable he is when it comes to negotiating or accepting reality of what's actually happening (trigonometry interview perfect encapsulation of total ideological capture(

He's a Comedian and you can't expect anything else from him on Geopolitics and History

@@sunnymitra6372 But he's literally being interviewed and asked specifically about geopolitics and history but when he says it in a sardonic (honestly sassy gay) tone he makes the interviewer feel like they don't know something while he's intentionally not saying these things because they would erode his black and white thinking.

Thank you so much for this talk. I have been horrified the last few years like many to watch the woke ideologies take over, feeling sane in an insane world. And having to choose if what I say is worth the risk. Increasingly I do speak out. It's only last week that I realised criticising Islam is not allowed. I somehow missed that! All I said was that if criticising Christianity is free game, then Islam should also be looked at. I was made to feel like a terrible person so I did what I always do and have been trying to inform myself to form my own opinion that I can stand behind and stand up for. This podcast and particularly this talk have helped a lot. I will start speaking out now and I will refer people to both of you if I can convince anyone to dig beyond the current narrative. I live in New Zealand, but grew up in the Netherlands and have always known people who fled from Iran. I always think that even if I can only make one person question what they have been told, then that is change. I hope the snowball starts rolling downhill faster Much love
