Wow I'm surprised how differently this one reacts on your skin! This is one of the best performing fragrances in my collection, lasts all day on my skin with arm's length projection for a good 12 hours. I didn't like the opening too much the lemon scent is quite artificial on my skin but it goes away quite quickly and it starts blossoming into orange blossom and rose. The sensual vanilla and almond notes are also quite prominent on my skin.

Lots of people in the Comments disagreeing with this review, particularly regarding the longevity. I'm a big fan of really sweet, fruity fragrances for women as I think they're super feminine. Cliche' I know - but anything with woody/spice notes I automatically associate with more masculine scents. This has sweet fruit in absolute abundance and lasted on my wrist (yes I tested it even though i'm a guy) for most the day with good projection. Fragrantica has 340 user votes with 77 scoring Longevity as "Long Lasting" and 42 scoring Longevity as "Very Long Lasting". Only 14 score Longevity as "Poor". I know skin reaction can vary, but i'm a little bewildered how this review is so far from other opinions. I would also note that here in the UK it has consistently held its price even though its a flanker, which often get reduced in time. I've just ordered this for my girlfriend, can't wait for her to wear it. In my opinion a great Parfum with above average Projection and Longevity, just maybe don't buy if you're not a fan of super-sweet, as you may find it a little cloying.

Very nice review thanks! I like the reviewer saying GONF opens with almost an orange-grapefruity note, because that's how I think it smells too! The lemon harmonizes with the other notes so there's almost a citrus ambery vibe, with an uplift emphasis on the bright citrus. I've been put off this perfume previously by other reviewers emphasizing GONF's "raspberry jam" main note, which doesn't quite feel like my personal style -and even considering the raspberry, rose/blackcurrant notes it still remains quite citrus-ambery(ish) and of course fitting in excellently with the reviewer's fruitchooli description. I actually like GONF's sameyness, and lack of complex development, as that makes the aura nice for a consistent signature perfume - it's ever-present, but not obtrusive. My guilty pleasures perfume tho, as I'm senior in age and don't wanna seem like I'm undignified,, silly or pretending to be young by wearing a girl-name perfume!

For me, i love the drydown. I was shocked when i tested this. I only known ELIE Saab as my haute couture icon when i was in my Highschool days... The sophistication n flirtiness transform from his creations to selection of perfumes.

Patchouli makes me angry. I just find it so boring and the worst of all the bottom notes IMO. Why not sandalwood, cashmere, woods, musk, all of them are better than patchouli.

I LOVE love LoVe this perfume:) the bottle is so pretty and the juice is a pretty coral and to me it’s a sweet and soft powdery scent and it lasts FOREVER on my skin. I moisturize everyday so maybe that’s why it lasts forever on me. Like one spray on my arms and I smell it the next day still.

The opening is amazing but then after few minutes it smells a bit cloying but then after an hour or so surprisingly it smells really good...so i spray this just out of the shower and by the time i leave the house the scent has settled down to a nice citrusy floral goodness.

Awww I'm so disappointed that connoisseurs don't like it.. I just revived my 90 ml lol. I found it a bit different from the generic feminine sweet on my skin (my skin has a terrible time of retaining smells too) and I could smell it on my wrist after 10 hours of sleep, that's what sold me on this. The sillage on me is good too.. I have almost all the Elie Saab perfumes and I still found this one different somehow even if it has the famous orange blossom. If you have sillage beasts that aren't too expensive (I already have baccarat rouge and fèves délicieuses etc.. and I go through them too quickly because my shifts at the hospital vary from 24 to 36 hours so I spray all the time)

I was meh about this when I first got it. I hated the rose note, it’s so predominant. It’s not synthetic smelling to me and lovely objectively but I just don’t like rose. Now that it’s spring I am loving it! Way better than the OG and shine in my opinion. Would be perfect for brunches and day dates.

I'm finding w/ Elie Saab, the openings are so beautiful, the ordinary/boring dry down, I just deal with. Usually add something else after. ;) The beginnings are captivating & I pretend the rest away.

I just bought 4 bottles of this at Shoppers Drug Mart for $19:99 !!! I LOVE it! It is so big and delicious off the top. After it settles I really get the almond. It it so LOVELY! So happy to have it! It lasts lovely on my skin! I moisturize head to toe though. I also adore almond and really do get it when the blast of fruit wears down. It made me take the plunge and buy Girl of Now EDP from fragrancex because it’s still not available in Canada.
