This is exactly the video i was looking for. i am new to CS so i am bingewatching information videos and i have gotten so far right now that i understand my role in solo q which is anchoring A for the most part, i really enjoy that role because i can clutch which feels really good or if i get rushed i hope to get 1 kill and i get all the information about where people are so my team can come in prepared. i am just silver right now and one of my weaknesses for sure are peeking and winning duels. and from this video alone i can clearly tell that i 100% peak without a plan and the person aiming at me probably does have a plan and that is why i lose.

That’s why prefire maps are so important. Best aim trainer for cs. It’s not an arena shooter, don’t need tracking or any vertical aim…just horizontal and map understanding/counter strafe

when i used to play alot i would usually play 8-12 hrs a day even just normal mm, and everytime for the third day or so i would literally know where everyone was like i was in the matrix. I think switching on your brain for a peek is kind of like when you drive through a suburb/low speed zone and there's streets coming in from your right. Sure, everyone slows down for the crossroads, but how many people are actually ready to stop on the spot when they see someone come out of a side street? It's that kind of active preparation.

Hi EliGE, how do I decide when to use crouch peek or just counter strafe peek?

I have a whole guide on refrag academy that you can check there if you are subbed, but TLDR is that it depends on a lot. Crouching is good for angles that can have many possibilities. So if someone likes a lot of off angles it is good. You also need right eye advantage. Counter strafe peeks are good right and left eye, advantage and disadvantaged angles but if you guess wrong on a strafe and hes in another angle or off angle you will lose the fight

I'm not elige lol but imo the lekkers aren't great. The gateron jade's are way better, There smoother and have a 30g initial force and lubed 10x better then any lekker but get whatever you like just make sure the switches say 'HE'

the cool thing about ropz crouch peeking the balcony angle. the ct has to crouch in order to get a headshot angle on that pixel. if the ct is standing he has to shoot body. pretty cool from mr. ropz

You should shift until you're at a angle where players are commonly at - that's when I would say to tap A, or D depending on which side you're clearing/peeking
