What I love about Cait and Vi is that it's not pandering. It's not overstated. It just feels *real* and *romantic,* which is why is simmers so hard. I feel like gay characters are often depicted in such an over-the-top way that they they end up feeling fake. Or their scenes are so in-your-face that it feels like a statement was put ahead of the story, making it disjointed, a distraction rather than something that feels like it belongs. But in Arcane, it all just feels so natural and unforced. Fingers crossed the writers don't get sloppy in season 2 and keep it real. Arcane had one of the best season 1s of any show I've ever seen and if it doesn't drop the ball it could go down as one of the best shows of all time. Please don't drop the ball.

I think the eye thing for Vi was the moment when she fully realizes Caitlin isn't like the other Enforcers. She really does care about not just Vi but all the people in the Under city. I think it's when the last of the armor she keeps around her heart came down. 😊❤

She spent time in prison because Silco told Marcus to "get rid of" Vander's kids, I think because Marcus was a father he didn't want to kill her but he didn't want his cash flow from Silco to stop either.. he probably told Silco that Vi was "taken care of" but yes, obviously the reasoning was BS

@@screechingtoad2683 It is when you live in Zaun dictated by a crime lord my guy. Try to remember who was supposed to take the fall for blowing up the building. It was always supposed to have been the kids. With Grayson in charge the kids wouldn't have rotted in prison, but with Grayson murdered and Marcus being a shitty cop, Vi had to take the fall for her large mistake.

something i watched in one of schnee’s videos is that vi grew up with the rule “they give you something if you give them something”. she even told this to cait in the brothel. she needs the councils help to stop silco so when they asked for a name, vi gave them a name. when the council didn’t give her anything back, she lost faith in piltover and that’s why she got so angry
