You have power of those demons through Christ Jesus! Do not fear them! Rebuke them with strong belief in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Am I the only one who loved how Elijah mocked the Baals? That's probably the funniest bit in the Bible. Also, although this video is about Elijah, I also think Elijah's story is one about how merciful God is. this is what called Faithfulness. Elisha kept up with Elijah The Prophet the Whole time. because Elisha ask Elijah when God takes him away that he wanted Double the Power that Elijah had. but Elijah The Prophet told Elisha that it is not up to him to grant this Power. but it was God. but Nevertheless if you shall be with me when God comes to take him away then God shall give you what you ask ? so When God sent the Chariot of Fire to take Elijah up into Heaven and the Chariot came between Elijah and Elisha and before Elisha new what was Happening Elisha saw Elijah being taken up and Elijah dropped his Mantel down to Elisha and Elisha took over where Elijah left off with God Granting Elisha double the Power of what Elijah The Prophet had and Elisha picked up The Mantel and he put it on and Elisha started to do Miracles himself with The Power of God. and the Moral of The Story is being Faithful to God and God will give you Grace and Glory by giving out a measure of Gifts that no man can gain say nor Resist. and God shall give some 5 talents to some 4 talents to some 3 talents to some 2 talents and to some 1 talent. all of those Talents is for The Glory of God.

Actually Elijah was taken through the air above to a new assignment. Transported is the word. He certainly couldn't have been taken out of earth's environment. He would have blown up due to the lack of external pressure. Jesus clearly stated that humans have never been to heaven (John 3:13).

These were already in place when God prepared the earth for human and other life form habitation. When God said "Let there be light" the sun was already in place. On occasion he will give you his hand, But don't be fooled by his stand. He seeks to corrupt your heart, You would be wise to avoid him from the start. Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love, He traverses this land with push and shove. Now Lucifer was once not lost, But pride blinded him at a cost. Disobeying God he waged war, Becoming detestable to the core. Today he is the ruler of Earth, Though for all his power he has no real worth. However most of us have still been sold, Giving into sin and becoming cold. Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings, Marching to delusion for their unjust kings. My people have given into lust, Becoming robots full of rust. However you my child are the exception, So when you meet me don't forget to mention. That you alone have been granted the key, And before your glory they shall all bend a knee. P.S.- Not too long ago I was very bitter and destructive. Literally I was covered in blood from head to toe and ripping off nails and things of that nature. In my mind Jesus was against me, he had a vendetta against me which I couldn't account for. Then slowly but surely I started having these revelations, and began delving into the word of God. It seemed like my agony was not in vain. The things which held me back eventually began to propel me forward. The darkness began fading away and an unspeakably bright light was surfacing. Jesus told me that he had to break me in order for me to rediscover who I really was. Sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today I am almost fully healed in every conceivable way, and things like being a virgin and being covered in scars I strangely enough take much pride in. I took up my cross and followed Christ and in doing so I discovered the greatest love of all.

@tongakhan230 Psalm 104:3; Jeremiah 4:13. What do you have to say about these? The same an ant would say of droplets of dew, or a puff of airwick, blowing speck of dust into the limitless atmosphere... This world is just a tent that God had prepared, air-conditioned, and fitted with all mod-cons (modern conveniences), to support life of fallen man until he is restored to glory or to corruption and ultimate destruction. If it is written that He was taken to heaven, then so it is, you just have to wait for the conclusion of this world system to find out what or where heaven really is. Even if someone were to explain, there's the positive that you may never understand. Even Daniel couldn't understand what the angel was telling him, so, he had to shut the book until all came to pass and he now gets a full grasp of it all. I'm sure he's going to have an "...ahhhhh, ahhhhh, oooh, ooooh...I seeeee..." moment, just like you will.

@tongakhan230 You're absolutely correct. But, how did God bury Moses? Where were he and Elijah kept until their appearance on the mount of transfiguration? Why were the three Hebrew boys not affected by the heat of the fiery furnace, heated seven more times, and the lions couldn't hurt Daniel either? I believe that they're changed in the twinkling of the eye, right before they defy the very laws of nature which God Himself put in place in this world Therefore it can be concluded that Elijah didn't ascend into heaven as a man, but as a changed, new being, Just like Jesus Christ defied the law of gravity, as the risen Lord, otherwise, the fiery chariots would have burned Elijah to smithereens! Known to God alone are His ways! The exact same thing with Believers when Jesus Christ returns to ransom His purchased possession, and they meet them in the air, with a changed, new body. No one can explain that. Jesus Christ only speaks and does as it is written of Him. He doesn't meddle in the past but refers to them as necessary. He came as the Messiah of Israel, and a Minister for the circumcision, not the world until they rejected Him, then He had to shed His blood for the propitiation for all sins of the whole world. John 12:32. We cannot use carnal minds to understand or discerne spiritual things. The Holy Spirit, however, does help in shedding light on them, now it's left for us to just take it as it is, simply by faith!

Quick one. His race against chariots and running faster than them isn't a result of an excellent physical condition. No mortal man can run faster than horses to the same destination and the horses left way before him. It's a spiritual manifestation of God's glory

The heading for this item says he was carried to heaven by a chariot. The Bible says the chariot separated Elijah from Elisha, and Elijah went up in a whirlwind, not a chariot. There is no defence to him going to heaven either.
