Yes, but it's a shame how the writers allowed their relationship to sour when Elijah made it possible for her to be born and know her father. Haley couldn't look at Elijah anymore once she had been in his mind, so he asked for his memories to be erased. Elijah has given up so much for Klaus's happiness; Marcel wanted to be like him and not Klaus, Haley, who was probably his true love, Hope, whom he thought of as a daughter and sacrificed everything for her to be born. So, for the writers and producers to throw him aside at the end of the Originals and Legacies was unforgivable.
