Dr Monte gives pro tips on how to apply this Kinesio Taping Method to shin splints to prevent leg pain.
This is a common problem among the running community, whether it be long distance runners or those participating in track and field.
The theory behind this technique is to help provide support to the anterior tibialis muscle that can be involved with this pain. There is also some additional taping used as a mechanical correction to localized pain areas.

My first experience with shin splints was my first semester of college! It was a walking campus, work lots of hills. UGH!! 👎
