I've have old version miltek downpipe, with oem audi sport exhaust on my fl rs3. I was thinking to mount cts downpipe with pfl secondery cats + software update. What do you think? Will I eliminate the rattle sound?

I have also a milltek downpipe fitted on my 2018 and the rattle sound is horrible, also during driving.. did you already installed another downpipe? if yes, what is your opinion about this one?

I did just software update (rattle sound delete) and the rattle sound is gone 95%. But I intend to install a pfl downpip, for those 5%. But A friend installed a secondary cat from plf and now the car has a really nice sound :)

What is the best exhaust setup for an rs3 pre FL?(for a stage 2+) Primary cat delete + secondary cats delete aswell or just primary cat has to go? Wondering about if it'll make too much noise on the road or not with all the 3 cats deleted. Thank you !

For a pre facelift I would recommend primary and secondary cat deletes, that is the best setup for that engine alongside an Audi sports exhaust!

@@InfinitPerformanceDo you guys know of a solution to obtain a quiet cold start on 8.5V? Preferably just in comfort mode if possible, It sounds like the mufflers are being avoided during warm up by default, seems this makes it louder than the higher RPM factor, as the sound level drops just before the revs do as the warmup is finished. Any solutions? Thanks for your input!

I have a 2018 rs3 with dynamic pack, also oem sports exhaust - do i need to upgrade downpipe to be able to run stage 2 - around 520 - 530 hp? Or the sports exhaust is capable of handling that kind of power?

Is it possible to eliminate the rattle on the 8Y RS3? Once you mount a 200cel Milltek downpipe (with OPF emulator) the rattle problem arises....

The 8Y has a wastegate rattle patch from the factory. The cars we fit a decat to and our emulator do not have any wastegate rattle at all so it sounds like their may be an issue with your setup. We generally do not advise fitting milltek downpipes to RS3’s.

Hey mate good stuff. Can you utilise rs3 PFL mid pipes on an FL Rsq3 or would could you achieve the same outcome with custom catted mid pipes on an Rsq3?

Question I just got my 2023 RS3 8Y and I wanna open up the sound. What can I do and not get the annoying waste gate rattle I had on my 18 8v? Also on my 8v I was running the iroz catless downpipe and mids. Thanks for your input.

@@carguy5763 nice! The RS3 8Y has a factory wastegate rattle patch, and US cars don’t have any OPF filters. So you can go ahead and fit another iroz DP to your car. You will get an eml for now as they can’t be tuned but will release the true 5 cylinder noise. If you don’t want a EML you can simply fit midpipes. The part number for these are 8S0254502A and 8S0254503A. Can buy straight from Audi or punch the numbers into the net, someone will be selling them in your side of the world.

the rattle doesnt come from the wastegate, its the ignition running -10 TDC and literally 99% of the rs3's leaky exhaust manifolds and gaskets.

😂😂😂 are these the new mechanics from the century... wastegate rattle fix, put pfl cats on it 😂😂😂. My car leaks oil, solution, we put grease in it. Dude, there is only one real wastegate rattle. Full frame

Unfortunately the owners willing to go stage 3 and looking to change the turbocharger are a minority, majority would like a solution for the stock turbocharger. We have a G35-1050 build underway that we will be showcasing next, stay tuned!

I've got a RS3 2018 with miltek down pipe, double decat & no resonators and it suffers from the waste gate rattle. I've heard people can map this noise out? Any recommendations to reduce the noise? I don't want to fit a 2nd cat

We can map the rattle out for you in the software! This will eliminate the noise by approximately 90%.
