A wonderful song, from an equally wonderful voice.. The Norwegian lyrics give this song a unique vibe, which after so many years, still sounds in my heart.

20 years ago already and I wished it won the contest, instead of Eimear Quinn's song "The Voice" (Ireland 1996). Norway should have won then, in my humble opinion.

TheKissTheTouch I don’t suppose u have a full English translation? I think this is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, and her voice is a gift from God. I’m in Australia, and still remember watching this, having goosebumps and a tear in my eye at the end. And the reaction from the audience at the end! Just incredible!

She is just simply phoenomenal. Along with 3 other ESC songs, i have this pegged as one of my wedding songs, it is so stunning and timeless. PLUS just to get it in here, she was robbed of the victory by another crap Irish win
