Lesbian interest storyline featuring the love story between Elise and Eryka, a TV couple from a UK TV show called The Tunnel S2. In these dramatic scenes Eryka visits Elise in the middle of the night asking to spend one more night with her. Elise wants to tell her boss Olivier about her relationship with Eryka but Karl warns her against that. Karl and Elise track down the location of the Chemist but failure to call for back up in time leads to them being caught by Koba's men. Koba instructs the Chemist to prepare Karl and Elise as toxic bobby traps infecting them with a virulent virus to avenge his father's death. Koba tells Eryka his plan and Eryka quickly exits to the bathroom to make a call to her superiors. Watch the nailbiting and intense cliffhanger finish for this couple

It can be called as "Twinflames" , ' cause though Erika left country, she gifted a new view of life for Elise ( which is symbolically presents Elise left eye ). And Erika had great love from Elise which helped her to forget bitter past. That is why she saved Elise' life because she knew that Elise loved her from the bottom of the heart, she touched Erika's soul with great compassion which helped to sooth Erika's anger, hate, frustration, cold blood killer nature to a pretty person who is in search of peace and love. They both leaved impact on eachother within a short time but forever. This is best and wonderful example of " TWINFLAMES "..

Yes I agree that they both got a lot of healing from being with each other even though it was for just a short time. There are people who can come into your life and make that kind of difference. Karl was right that Elise is an exceptional person but I don't think he understood the power of the Elise and Eryka connection. So at the end in the hospital I don't think he got how alone she had felt until she met Eryka. And though Elise and Eryka didn't stay together Elise has the beautiful memory of Eryka and what they shared to sustain her. Yes Twinflames is a good way to describe it. Like in Elena Undone?

@@IndiPrasad598 Elena Undone and Snapshots has way too different endings.. if lovers are so in love with each other they both agreed on fighting for their love, to be together not leaving one behind just because Rose is afraid losing her stereotypical life, to stay with her husband and wanting pregnancy which ended up adopting because she can’t conceive...that’s what happened to Rose and Louise in Snapshots. Unlike, Elena and Peyton they did wait and sort out their situations, Elena’s divorce, her son’s feelings and having another child while Peyton has to work on her book.

I've watched this again after years past..I thought somewhat they'll have Eryka character back or might cross with Elise path somehow for another season but didn't. But this is something we can call a true love indeed with two people who truly cares even they are from different sides of law. Reminders of love really wins this can move mountains if you really want too. Romantic but sad end, at least she knows she wasn't been fooled that what they've shared was true.

Yes. I really hoped they would bring Eryka back in Season 3 too but not to be. I agree with what you were saying about true love cos it can move mountains. At least we know that our lovers loved each other and Eryka found a way to prove that love to Elise and redeem herself in some way

Yes I agree. While there seems no hope for our lovers to ever be together it doesn't take away how much the relationship meant to them and how much it enriched them as people. In my experience when you have a deep connection with someone you want to be a better person. It changes your sense of hope and how you look at life. Even if it doesn't last that is sure worth having

Unfortunately, no.... it's a torturing campaign, but the fortunate side of it is I knew there are my talented and sweet lesbians like you out there and the torturing became not that scary. well I am gonna be a gynecologist in China September next year anyway, and I have to leave this country cus its not friendly for gay people. That means I have more exams to take for doctor licenses to work abroad. And this story does unveil that the connection between lesbians is very deep and sometimes easy to not be aware of. When it's gone you feel the deepest pain and you realize how strong the bond is and how early it started to grow from the first time when you met that one.

It must be hard to live in a country where you cannot give expression to who you are easily and without fear. I am fearful that civil liberties will change again in the west. Right now there is greater tolerance of gay people but I am not sure about the future as we head into a global downturn in economies and massive job losses. I am expecting more right wing governments to emerge and with it the curtailments of personal freedoms and the marginalization of those who do not conform.Not that I want to be all doom and gloom or a conspiracy theorist or anything. I just worry because I believe that tolerance to gays goes in waves. As to relationships with women I agree the connection between two women can be very deep and intense. Losing connection is so painful no matter who you are. No wonder we hang on to relationships that are no longer working. It can be really hard to let go.

Yes it seems to be a bit of fashion these days to have bittersweet endings that more closely mirror real life instead of classic happy endings. I am a bit of a romantic so I like to see the lovers love and conquer all impediments so they can be together and live happily ever after.

Absolutely. Eryka got to leave because she helped broker the deal with Koba and The Chemist. There was no way she could come back safely even to visit. At the end we see Elise longing for Eryka and what she has lost. Definitely true love for both

Yes her pupil is dilated at the end which makes sense as she had that injection in the eye. But you could also be right that it is signifying that knowing Eryka has helped her to see things a little differently

Yes it was a shame that they did not pursue the Elise and Eryka storyline into Season 3. I suspect they underestimated how many people watched the show just because they wanted to see the Elise and Eryka love story evolve. They never made a Season 4 as I think the show got canned.

Hi Leah. Eryka was spying for the Russians.She persuaded the Russians to give up The Chemist (who they wanted eliminated anyway) to the English and French because of the bubonic plague threat. In the process she got to save Elise's life. By giving up Koba also she herself got to go free. The deal was that she was allowed to leave the country but she was still classed as a terrorist and could not come back to visit Elise in hospital

Това трябва да си заслужава. Interesting. I see it a little differently. A relationship that shows you it is possible to connect at a deep level is worth it to my way of thinking. That's when healing really happens. I think we carry our wounds from childhood they just get reopened as adults. In this case both Elise and Eryka got some healing for their grief at losing a twin. That has to be worth it.
