There are a few young musicians right now... with access to tools from an early age, unimagined by older generations... this is a VERY exciting time for musical creativity. I'm not going to see Elise when she is at her peak, with a life time of skills and experience to go with the breathtaking talent that she clearly has, and that makes me more than a little sad. Keep going Elise. You're doing special things.

Young talent should be distracted by the "more" in life to grow into a balanced life so the music will become a friend forever. You can compair it with some sport talent , if only pushed it can end very sad.

@8O0Aa.1q3S0. 2 жыл бұрын
"with access to tools from an early age" Dude, what nonsense are you talking about - most people have no way even to buy a computer for themselves on which all sorts of audio sequencers will not lag. And let's talk about expensive drum kits, synthesizers, amplifiers, room decor, speaker installation, frequency conflict resolution. Man, most of today's musicians are still the kids of rich parents, because most people just don't have the opportunity to write good music, and you can't make the same sound on a $100 poop as on a $1000 kit.
@Arakiel9
@Arakiel9 2 жыл бұрын
@@8O0Aa.1q3S0. I've grown up in the US, so my perspective is skewed that direction. I grew up poor... mother gone, father on a Navy pension of $600/mo... we had food stamps, medical coupons, and government cheese. Even in that setting, there were kids I knew with access to WAY more than $1,000 worth of recreational gear... not just the rich kids, they don't count... but middle class, and lower middle class. Those numbers are from the 70's and 80's. These days, all of those numbers are bigger. A poor family, like my level of poor, not world wide poor... US poor... would have access to a good enough computer to run these tools and plug ins. A lot of them are available for far less than "full price", or even free, if you are willing to be sketchy. Then, like you said, there ARE rich kids out there too, doing their thing. So, yeah, my statement is pretty accurate from what I see. Nothing you said really effects that. The extra things that you talk about, "...expensive drum kits, synthesizers, amplifiers, room decor, speaker installation...", that's all simulated now. At pro level? Yes, some of it... but that's not the point. I'm not comparing this to some famous celebrity's personal studio... I'm saying that they have good enough equipment to try a TON of different things, and get it good enough for KZbin, easily, and good enough for TikTok... because we see it there every day. Is there better out there? Sure. Is that needed for the level of fidelity that we're talking about? Nope. Not even a little bit.

I was sitting here in my home office late at night when a notification popped up from a name I just barely recognized at the time. I still play this once in a while when the mood is right. The artistry, the visual images with the orange theme and collage of posters with her outfit and skin tone subdued in the center. The drumming is exquisite. The superb rhythm on the keyboard. The vocal. She's apparently based in a town near here. Maybe I'll try to look up a live performance sometime.

love that she has the two different mic’s set up for different vocal effects 😍 I do a similar “one woman band” vibe and it’s the way!!!

just listened to your stuff, really good!! i think you guys music could reach her level with some better mixing and mastering! some more bass, more subtletly on some effects, some more reverb on vocals especially if controlled with a pedal perhaps or even just an automatic ducking on the feedback so that when you stop singing the reverb goes bigger :) nice work!
