There are a few young musicians right now... with access to tools from an early age, unimagined by older generations... this is a VERY exciting time for musical creativity. Keep going Elise. You're doing special things.

Young talent should be distracted by the "more" in life to grow into a balanced life so the music will become a friend forever. You can compair it with some sport talent , if only pushed it can end very sad.
@8O0Aa.1q3S0.2 жыл бұрын
"with access to tools from an early age" Dude, what nonsense are you talking about - most people have no way even to buy a computer for themselves on which all sorts of audio sequencers will not lag. And let's talk about expensive drum kits, synthesizers, amplifiers, room decor, speaker installation, frequency conflict resolution. Man, most of today's musicians are still the kids of rich parents, because most people just don't have the opportunity to write good music, and you can't make the same sound on a $100 poop as on a $1000 kit.
@Arakiel92 жыл бұрын
@@8O0Aa.1q3S0. I've grown up in the US, so my perspective is skewed that direction. I grew up poor... mother gone, father on a Navy pension of $600/mo... we had food stamps, medical coupons, and government cheese. Even in that setting, there were kids I knew with access to WAY more than $1,000 worth of recreational gear... not just the rich kids, they don't count... but middle class, and lower middle class. Those numbers are from the 70's and 80's. These days, all of those numbers are bigger. A poor family, like my level of poor, not world wide poor... US poor... would have access to a good enough computer to run these tools and plug ins. A lot of them are available for far less than "full price", or even free, if you are willing to be sketchy. Then, like you said, there ARE rich kids out there too, doing their thing. So, yeah, my statement is pretty accurate from what I see. Nothing you said really effects that. The extra things that you talk about, "...expensive drum kits, synthesizers, amplifiers, room decor, speaker installation...", that's all simulated now. At pro level? Yes, some of it... but that's not the point. I'm not comparing this to some famous celebrity's personal studio... I'm saying that they have good enough equipment to try a TON of different things, and get it good enough for KZbin, easily, and good enough for TikTok... because we see it there every day. Is there better out there? Sure. Is that needed for the level of fidelity that we're talking about? Nope. Not even a little bit.
