ahh thats so cool cause its the truth for me as well. i had my drumsticks before i ever got a set. i would listen at night to my favorite artist on my cd player and bang on my knees. i remember one time i got sent to the counselors office and they asked how life at home was hinting to the bruises on my legs. i smiled and said "those??? nah those are me learning the drums" XDDD moved to guitar, bass, piano and other odd percussions but always will have my drum set!

I’ve been playing the Vater Fusion stick since 1988 which was before there was a Vater brand name when they were still just a private label drum stick manufacturer.
