My Five Years Anniversary as a Boho Vintage Seller

I Live in Colorado in western USA. The elevation of our town is 10,200 feet in elevation. We get tons of snow and its really cold. Winter lasts about 8 months of the year, but we get sunshine. Lots of it. Makes it wonderful. Sometimes it snows with blue sky and the sun out. Its normal to see various cold prisms randomly throughout the day. Its like sections of rainbows all over everywhere, so winter depression is minimal, usually.

It sounds a beautiful place. The problem with lots of Europe and in the UK where I am from we get a block out of the sun. Just one grey sheet covering the sky. No clouds. No blue. Just flat sheet of dirty grey. Hardly any sun. God bless you, I am happy you get the sun. Enjoy it lovely.

I come from somewhere that is too much hot sun and I get excited when I see grey clouds and rain although I'm not such a fan of actually feeling the cold. But it's easier to bundle up outside in the cold and during the heat I like wearing light fabrics but long skirts or dresses with long sleeves to avoid the sun on my skin but just too hot and sweaty bleh. The winter here is kind of mild outside when I put on my coats and walking around I end up feeling hot and taking it off and sling it over my handbag the rest of the way. But I always feel cold inside my house and have to bundle up and put the heater on so I can potter about and actually do things around the house and not stuck on the sofa with a blanket the whole time. In winter it's warmer outside in the winter sun than in my house and hotter inside my house during summer than outside. It's insulated so it takes a few days to cool or warm but then it's trapped and takes days to cool back down or warm back up again. I keep dreaming about moving to Europe and leaving the hot summers behind. Heatwaves there are mild compared to heatwaves here and are days I appreciate after our super hot heatwave days. I've never seen snow in real life. I'd be more comfortable in Summer there but not sure how I'll cope with more cold. I like the look of colder weather outside. Spring is prolly my favourite season, not too hot or cold, just Goldilocks and everything starts to bloom and look lush and pretty.

I feel your daylight pain. I live in Alaska and it get light about 10:30 am and starts getting dark about 2:30.
