I think the perspective might be from a ukulele player, as it's really annoying to be constantly asked to play these songs when you simply mention to someone that you play the ukulele. Like geez random IRL person, I chose ukulele as an alternative to guitar (it scares me), that doesn't mean I know how to play these stereotypical ukulele songs.
