Great video. Playing like Doc helped me make my High school varsity basketball team. Class personified.

Dr.J is my favorite player of all time. When having GOAT conversations, his name should always be mentioned,as I believe his ABA stats & accomplishments should be included! Yes,he should have more NBA chips, but I don’t blame Doc for not having more.I blame the coaching. There were several ECF against Boston where the team self destructed due to turnovers at crucial times in games. There were missed free throws during crucial times by guys that were usually very good free throw shooters. There were games in which Doc was simply not aggressive or given the ball early on because Cheeks,Bibby, & Hollins didn’t get Doc involved. There were junctures in crucial moments of games that Billy C would have Doc on the bench.Even though Doc may have had a few fouls, you have to trust your star player & you have to keep him involved! Billy C did not always do that! With the talent the Sixers had, better coaching would’ve gotten atleast 2 more chips out of those teams because Doc definitely did his part! He was,is & will forever be my basketball hero
