If Crossfit truly wants to make this a worldwide discipline and sport they really need to start using kilos and metres. 195 recognised countries and only 3 do not use the metric system.

Tremendous comp ruined by the coverage. The broadcasting issues particularly on Day 1 with the signal was terrible for such a high profile event. The camera work was terrible - unable to track any action outside of a few teams. Some teams barely got any screen time yet we were watching heat after Heat of ham and eggers. Particularly the lift coverage was shocking. But the worst of all is Shaun and Chase. How they keep getting the gig at these events is such a travesty. Every event they make false statements and then have to correct themselves. "The lift must be finished in 30 seconds" 2 minutes later "if they start the lift they can finish it". Chase making statements about teams leads that just are not true. Don't get me wrong they both have done well to promote and grow the sport and give it a foothold but its time to move on because its actually now a huge detractor and makes it a hard listen.

I competed this weekend so didn’t really catch most of the broadcast, but in their defense regarding “false statements,” the briefings we received as athletes leading up to the weekend changed more than once between what we’d get briefed on right before stepping on the floor. Reasons varied (safety, flow, etc.) but i wouldn’t be surprised if they were also getting last minute updates

@Zachary Hawkins I know what you're saying but that works both ways. I'd happily pay for it as i do for other sports providing I was getting coverage worth the pennies. But they are broadcasting free to maximise eyes and generate through other streams. But those eyes will diminish if the quality is poor. You need to be advertising a strong well developed and accessible product for growth. IMHO. I would be wary about paying for the product based on what I saw this weekend. But that's just my opinion.

Seems like they did all they could NOT to cover any action by the AKA Humble Killers. They finished in 3rd overall. They were NEVER on screen during 3:2:1, and only rarely at the final events, , , even though they WON one of them!!!

as usual, huge judging inconsistencies. will you get a lenient judge or a pedantic one? its unknown and unknowable. 5:36:51 if that judge wanted to tell Th'sDttr to jump instead of skipping, he should have done it on the first rep, not the penultimate one. 5:38:20 -this is your time. sign the card. sign the card. - go away. let me die. 5:42:09 -why did i do that last burpee?

5:37:30: Judge's hand drops after Brook Well's last burpee but her teammates drop to do another one. If they hadn't done that, BPN finishes 4th and 2nd overall.

Synchro wall balls were also off, some teams given a no rep if the balls hit the target at different times, other teams were credited with the rep
