Can't seem to get combat music to play in-game as of 12/29/2021. Music just mutes when I enter an engagement, so I have to rely on your videos to add the tension back lol. Thank you for the upload!

there are options to turn off certain musics in-game. maybe something was fucky there? i for on turned off the auto-dock music only so i know for a fact something like that is possible.

@@gabrielg.e.j9060 I have the exact setup but it was the same result. I dont think its actually broken anymore but I haven't done proper tests lately. I believe it was related to an update where they broke targeting and radar against winged enemies (they wouldn't show as red/hostile on radar)

Usually, I get this one when I'm fighting any particular assassination missions. Not when I fight a passerby pirate, but an actual mission target. Among the stars, no matter where in inhabited space you reside, *someone is gonna want someone dead.*

@@astronaut3248 Ohhh, I also get this one while fighting in conflict zones and while fighting an enemy of an higher combat level than me like most of passerby pirates (Which I usually manage to take down alone or with help of the local system's military)

@@astronaut3248 Yes. The only time I found them annoying was when I had to assassinate a pirate and they killed him, which led to a mission failure

@@wolfy6631 The music is procedural and tied to the game's events. This particular set of tracks only plays when you're fighting an enemy that is of roughly equal strength; "low intensity" is when you're fighting a lesser threat, and "high intensity" plays when you're outnumbered and/or outgunned, regardless if a capital ship is present or not. "Threat" music plays when you're not actively engaged in combat, or in lulls between fights. In all cases, it randomly swaps between tracks in such a way as to grant the greatest "cinematic" fighting experience.

My friend in a cutter with the best shields got melted in 2 seconds i was in a courier and he sacrificed himself for me he had shield recharging lasers

@@Youda00008 medium or high intensity combat zones, normally Elite NPCs with fully engineered ships. They can fuck your shit up.

I don’t think spec ops is that bad I also got a cutter but usually I end up using the corvette and both seem to last well Yes I do need to pop a cell bank once in a few occasions but the only thing stopping me from slaughtering them is them spamming chaffs and target lock breaker PAs Even the federal captain (who flies a corvette that has probably been engineered to the core) doesn’t stand much of a chance Maybe it’s your modifications that limit your duration in combat What did you do to your ship?
