Seriously, I don't understand why the M&P line is replicating 1.0 models from 10 years ago. Smith has a lot of cool M&P 2.0 models that they've released over the past couple of years. Why didn't they choose those to replicate as Airsoft models?

I wonder what the permanent on LED lights in the hopup does to the battery life... I can imagine that you no longer will be able to do one skirm with a single battery, maybe even two if you have a long game day and are somewhat trigger happy

Great question, Rick. The LED pulls 47.1 milliamps, using a 900 mAh battery that will let you leave it plugged in for 45 hours without firing it, and 4 minutes of continuous fire in full auto. No matter what, the MOSFET pulls about 20 milliamps; overall, approximately 66.6 milliamps. You'd only see a downside in an overnight match, but you could run better batteries. During our product testing, our tech said he left the light on and had no noticeable difference from a gun made by the same manufacturer but w/o the LED. Hope this helps.

Was about to say that, I'd have expected to see the new SRC Glocks given they've been ready since MOA 2023 at least. With the amount of cool optics-ready pistols others are coming out with, not tapping that market now seems like a major risk. Then again, maybe the big reveal is going to be at IWA next month?
