Thank you, good to hear, the guide will help you make a money and see what works for you, its a lot of fun and I'm itching to get back out there when I get a chance (nearly exo elite). The description has some builds, I would go for the Viper mk4 (best overall exobiology ship - its very small) or the DBX (best range and unengineered), depending on what you want to do, there is a video of the best exobiology ships if you want to see more and a bit more depth on what I think are the best options kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6K0YX2oiteqh5ofeature=shared

Yes, I already watched that video 😊 I'm excited to build a Viper IV - never had one, as I never saw a point in it before! Just need to get my head around what's new in engineering now 🙈

I've been doing Billionaire's Boulevard, but sounds like this going to make me tons more; I definitely wasn't making the kind of money people said I could and figured I was missing something. Just to confirm, it's only the "first footfall" that you need to be looking for? It doesn't matter if the planet was already discovered?

Yes, only first footfall, then anything you discover, assuming you get them sold first will have the first time bonus, but most folk when they see first footfall taken likely assume that the good stuff like Stratum Tectonicas has already been scanned. The Spansh search in the description will make you a ton of money, I found a high jump range ship to be best - DBX and Mandalay - just for the speed, then I try to get most of the samples or at least the easy ones if the terrain is especially harsh, this is not a problem for the Viuper4 though which can land anywhere. Also Stratum Tectonicas is not the only high value, so other plants will be worth it, its all a learning experience. Enjoy.

I use an imperial courier that can boost to 851 and it makes landing and scanning each thing so much faster than an srv and even with the landing gear down it still goes around 300

@@Eskimo1310 it’s a nice ship, not a fan of the rear exit, you can even fit an SRV on for extra weight as you won’t use it for exobiology, but you could mine some materials if that took your fancy.

@@y_ffordd I actually did manage to fit an srv bay only to realize after that i didnt really need it. The cockpit and canopy view are also really good looking

So many scanners, the blue one that goes ting will do, but I never realised how easy it was to cheese Stratum Tectonicas before, I hope I havent ruined exo for you by sharing this one with you, I think thats all Luxuriants fault or some other on some forum.

Isn't there a way to scann simultaneously at least two different organisms ? (Thanks for the video which was very cool)

Sadly not, I try and land next to a new biological as well as the current one on the third scan to increase efficiency. They should allow a second scanner to be equiped rather than a side arm.

I havent shared the spreadsheet before, you will see why, I have cleaned up as much as possible.
