Sharabutdin Magomedov (Шарабутдин Магомедов) made his UFC debut October 2023 securing a Unanimous Decision win over the tough Bruno Silva, a man who'd gone the distance with Alex Pereira.
Sharabutdin Magomedov has been making waves in the MMA world and signed with the UFC earlier this year. His journey could've been cut short because of an eye injury he suffered early in his career and it's been left slightly ambiguous whether he can even see out of the eye anymore. Unlike most fighters coming out of Dagestan, 'Shara Bullet' is primarily a striker with a kick-heavy fighting style. 10 out of his 12 professional wins have come by the way of a knockout. It will be interesting to see how the Dagestani fighter performs against some of the more notable names in the division but I'm sure he'll get there. In this video we take a closer look at his style and what makes him such an exciting prospect in the Middleweight Division.

I’m not sure if you watched his fight from today, but he’s got an underrated clinch game and was able to do some decent damage to Michal with knees and elbows for trying to pressure him in addition to interrupting his offense in general

Another amazing video. As a Muay Thai guy it’s nice seeing someone utilize some Muay Khao in the cage 🤜 I’ve always said clinch knees have to be some of the most brutal strikes in martial arts. Scary place to be.

Ye for sure! Matt brown had excellent clinch but he was real muay khao stylist and he didn't have the best wrestling! I think a good knee fighter with great wrestling as a style would be an all time great in mma!

@@prostrikingunfortunately a clinch/dirty boxing heavy approach has kinda died down in popularity in recent years. The last elite level ufc fighter to do it was Dan Cormier, the clinch is still important and fighters like Shara are able to use it effectively but they don’t really go out of their way to have a clinch fight

Arguably the best kicks in the game and the best clinch work in the game. Very dangerous at a very far range and very dangerous at very close range, a raging cyclone of limbs. Very fun style to watch overall.

😂😂 he's had a whole career in kickboxing and Muay Thai and currently undefeated in mma. In a division with no real strong wrestler in the top 10 he will be a problem. Ge might not beat a Bo nickel but time will tell! I think he had some fun fights to be had!
