Until there is proof rumors of Korean troops will remain disputed. Russia has absolutely no need for inexperienced foreign soldiers (not proficient in Russian language) to fight for them. Its just a ploy to make excuses for NATO troops in Ukraine

How do you know they are not proficient in Russian language? North Koreans have trained in Russia for many years now.

The North Koreans are not involved to any meaningful extent in the actual fighting. They may offer some expertise with the equipment they have provided. Generally, they would hold down previously captured positions. We have never seen any evidence that they are part of the Russian offensive. Don’t be daft. The Russians have plenty of soldiers, and the language barrier precludes integration in most battlefield tasks. How many interpreters do you think they have in the field? What is more interesting is the mercenaries on the Ukrainian side, the genuine war pigs who cannot get enough killing and violence. Reporting suggests that the CIA does the recruiting and pays them, but it is not money that attracts them. It’s the thrill of being licensed to do anything they want to do to both adversaries and civilians.

What I appreciate about the news from Ruslan over the Military summary channel is the absence of predicting what tactics and strategy are being planned ( pure speculation ). Ruslan reports what is happening and doesn’t make declarations about the motivations and future plans of the participants. Go, Russia!

North Korea has every right to participate in the SMO. The mutual defense treaty is a legal document and valid, making their participation more legal than nato personnel being in ukraine.

North Korea or no North Korea, Russia has the ability and capability to carry out successful operation of the conflict. We should not forget the term allocated to this state of affair between Russia and Ukraine, which is "special military operations " and not war. Russia has undoubtedly shown that she is exercising restraint in her actions in Ukraine .To be precise, Russia has independent capability to decide the outcome of the conflict

North Korea is at war with the USA, so participating in the Kursk fighting gives their fighters combat experience in the most intense war today. It also cements their mutual defense pact with Russia.
