I think that the biggest reason why Seul-ki likes Jinyoung instead of Dong-woo is in the very first scene. Seul-ki told Jinyoung that she couldn't drink and he was fine with it. He wasn't flustered and even offered to not drink. When she said it’s okay if he drank, he took the offer. This shows that not only does he not mind, but also that he’s confident enough to continue the conversation even when she's sober and he's drunk. He doesn't have anything to hide. But Dong-woo was flustered and even told her that it was regretful to not drink in this type of situation. He was obviously uncomfortable and wanted to drink alcohol but still insisted on ordering champagne. Not only does this force Seul-ki to drink with him, but also shows that he isn't confident in himself. I think Seul-ki saying she can't drink is her way of testing the guy. She probably actually can't drink but it also helps her determine what sort of guy she's with depending on how they react. She was probably feeling Dong-woo until he fumbled on the question and things went downhill from there.

That wasn’t the only thing he fumbled. He wasn’t listening to her. She said “I’ll splash around”, she said she needed time, IDK and he kept pressing her to say she liked him. She was very emotionally secure to back off from him. When I saw her curled up in a corner of the bench outside and he continued to ask her about her feelings. I thought she just doesn’t want to be impolite. But he’d also been drinking and didn’t catch the hints.

I related to her so hard with Dong-woo! Bc I don’t drink by personal choice & the way he reacted is exactly how most ppl react. They always pressure us into drinking even when we say no. Seul-ki is one of the richest contestant in single inferno. Her family owns 20 floors apartment worth 78 million dollars. And also her father was one of the famous plastic surgeon in soul Korea. But one of his interview, he said, his family didn't like him in UDT because his character was changed from being cheerful to dark, he didn't talk much, looked depressed when he came back home on his leave. She felt UDT took away her son. It shows how hard to live as a special force soldier in S.Korea. We don't know what missions or trainings they've been through. One of known ROK UDT missions was rescue sailors from pirots in Adenman, soldiers were injured but saved all civilians. JY was belong to counter terrorism team.

Most korean forums had no interest in this season before or didn’t like most contestants in the first 2 episode (except Soeun who knetz like for her bubbly personality) but now everyone is shipping Jinyoung and Seulki. LOL It’s actually quite ironic since both of them literally got negative response in the Ep. 3 & 4 and now it’s the total opposite. Their videos are most viewed and a lot of Knetz support them. Both in article comments and in korean forums they are getting great responses. Even people supporting Jongwoo for Seulki turn on him & now prefer Jinyoung-Seuki. Crazy how 1 paradise date change everything. Also why you must never judge a person base on preview. 😆

I feel Jinyoung likes Seulki but Seulki has fallen too much in love with him and also i feel Jinyoung would want to know more girls to make final decision. He is like Seo eun, he would want to give chance to Nadine bcs he seems curious about her too. I disagree. Seulki literally still giving chance to Jongwoo in the preview. I also disagree that Jinyoung wants to know other girls or explore option. He NEVER once took initiative to have solo talk to any of the girls. It was Nadine always asking for his time. What is he to say?! Reject her just for a few minutes talk?! Throw all your bias away and you will notice Jinyoung only ever look for Seulki. When all of them where having fun… he turn to Soeun and ask where she is. When his washing dishes… he specifically ask her to wash with him even though he can do it alone or ask other girls. I agree..in a different way. He is very cocky and needs a trophy girl who is not very intelligent ..I am not sure if Seulgi got into Seoul University studying piano bc of her background..her mom is said to be a well known pianist and has connections. in Korea, if you have lots of money and very good connections, that can help you get into a university. Average middle class people with no connections cannot do that in Korea. Also from the convo Seulgi had with Dongwoo, she mentioned that it is exam period and will probably fail her exams but she doesn't care bc she would rather be on the show. I knew right away that she is not very driven, nor is she studious or serious about piano. She only went to university for her parents. Most rich elite women in Korea go to college to improve their status and to look more eligible for marriage. This is very common amongst Korean women whose parents want to marry them off into good, well to do families. Anyways...it looks like Dong Woo is the type that is your typical chauvinistic male dominating type. He likes to control and be the dominating person in the relationship. Nadine is not the type of women to be dominated. You can tell from the convo they had, she was very charismatic and expressed her opinion well. Also in Korea college pedigree matters ALOT. I mean ALOT. YES, he DEFINITELY was intimadated by the fact she went to Harvard. To foreigners, they may not understand or accept any of this but to Koreans, they all know this too well.. the elite and upper class care alot about wealth, pedigree, job titles, etc. I also could tell that he lost confidence in his English speaking skills 5 minutes into the conversation. His grammar was a bit off and his pronunciation was not that great considering he went to an international school in Korea for rich kids where your teachers speak English, all your peers speak English. So considering he went to an international school up through college , his English is not good bc if you went to an international school, you should be fluent. Not sure why his English is so bad. Dongwoo is the type to dominate and want to wear the pants in the relationship. He isn't looking for an equal. He just wants a trophy girl who is less intelligent than him and won't overshadow him.

I mean I also think that when you’re that young (and popular), it makes sense to explore all your options and not immediately settle down. And if she herself is very rich (which it seems like from the black Chanel dress she was wearing and Chanel purse and Chanel luggage bag) idk why she wouldn’t just end up with someone in her league. Also it’s pretty common knowledge that in Korea if you’re studying an arts major (something “non stable” like law), you’re from a wealthy family bc you need a lot of financial support. So I doubt she will NEED to find a rich guy when she already is rich.

(But also I don’t think it was a huge deal for her to wear the fake brand idk why she got cancelled over it). That Chanel dress Seulki wore tho is def real I literally book marked that exact dress bc it’s so pretty. It retails for ~$3-4K probably more in Korea since also Chanel is one of the most expensive of all the luxury brands. It’s not an affordable luxury brand like Marc Jacobs or Coach.
