Great review Steven as always!!! I reduced my letoff on my EVO NXT 35 down to 70% and that made a huge difference in feel at full draw and works better with my back tension!! Keep the awesome reviews coming brother!!! 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹

So glad u did that adjustment b4 u ended the video. I just don't feel tight & precise if my anchor or holding weight isn't ideal. I had 1 bow where the draw was too short & to hit my anchor I had to max out the letoff. Also had to tie a longer d-loop which I think helped me shoot better since it felt more forgiving. I used the green BCY #23 which I prefer over a standard loop. I shot 80% letoff for years & 85-90% feels very foreign to me.

I shoot almost 60 % let off at 50 ish, have elbow trouble if wind up too much above 50 but the let off gives me resistance and some stability ! Looks like you were lifting your palm off the grip early in the video some of the time, if the module slides, mark the cam with a marker so you can see the adjustment, it works on non micro hinges as well, to give you a reference, so you know where you started

Nice shooting Steven, but I believe you had 3 nines in the first end for a 293. Thanks for the content.

Does your Sure-Loc sight vibrate ? I have the Phoenix QA 6" 400 frame and it just seems like it Vibrates an awful amount....

Steve, are you pulling straight back or pulling around, more like the technique used by Olympic recurve archers?

For m looks really good put 3 of them in same joke could be grip also could be your eyes

How long is that front stabilizer? It looks like about 4 feet long!

You could just extend that sight bar until it's touching the target!
@Gibsonlife5732 жыл бұрын
That's not the same way As the botec reckoning 38 you have to measure somewhere that is a consistent spot with the caliper is what I do I stick it down in the groove touch it against it and then I measure to the end of the stop to make sure they're both exact
@Gibsonlife5732 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think you should have a draw link this to touch shorter that front arm looks awful extended

@@wcwcgarner2717 sounds to me like he’s shooting the remedy for target archery. Plus the remedy isn’t a new design, considering how he has a ton of bows coming in and out of his shop. It’d almost be like him doing a review like I did on the Energy 32 that I’d suggest you watch ;)

why should you "NOT" have caffeine? Don't listen to "THEM" they are unaware of how YOUR metabolism process caffeine and how it enhances YOUR perception! Caffeine is GREAT!!!

More.... yes bend that bow arm and get a wrist sling and get your index finger off the front of the riser. Your bow hand and release hand should be totally relaxed. The only tension you should have is in your back muscles. Those between your shoulder blades. I wished I could coach you. You have a good release. Just that all your other things vary from shot to shot.

Shooting better with a hunting bow than your target bow. It’s your scope. You see all the movement, and fight to correct it. This is something you do not see with a pin. Try shooting a lower power scope. I shot a 4x scope for a long time. Tried a 6x and it was just too much. Remember the peep issue. Imagine a 5 pin hunting sight. You have a peep in your string. That peep should be just large enough to let in enough light at legal shooting hours. The peep is NOT to work around your sight housing. With a 5 pin sight, and using a peep the way you think it is to be used, the only clear pin will be the middle one. You must ignore that housing, look through the peep at whatever pin or dot on your scope and shoot. You are adding and fighting too many processes. Again, don’t trust what I say. Ask a gold medalist marksman sho shoots a rifle with a peep. It’s the exact same way. Your brain will center it all by itself. Just concentrate on the dot in your scope and forget the scope is there. Also, what if you had a recurve sight on your compound? You know.... with a single pin? No housing there for your peep to surround, so maybe this makes more sense to you now??? You also need a release hand anchor. Your hand just floats along side your cheek.
