Man I tell you this brings back so many good memories. I was league president, organizer, statistician and sons coach for a 15 team high school aged in-line hockey league for 8 years here in Wichita Kansas. My squad were league champions and had never lost a game for all 8 years. I would put them up against the local minor league ice team any day; as long as it was no checking. I mean we’re talking about scrawny 140-160 lbs high schoolers against 200+ lb adults. But man could they execute and run plays. My son is still playing hockey to this day as a 40 year old. He plays both ice and roller and plays on multiple teams. He’s been to Vegas to plays tournaments numerous times. Best part is now my 6 year old grandson has got a taste for hockey; the greatest sport ever. Thanks Canada 🇨🇦

Masher... I played in RHI minicamp for the New Jersey Rock n Rollers. I also played for the Philly Sting and Washington Power when it was true PRO... then the DC Voltage when I was player owned. Full contact. I’d say that the play was way faster and the bone crushing hits made it brutal. I broke many helmets with hits. Head up hockey... I’m 44 and haven’t played for 11 years. We were good but when playing against IHL and AHL players during summer break was a gift for a guy from Virginia. I was 6’3” and 255 and was fast. I was known for my hitting. My fighting was something as well but after I knocked out a AHL guy in a game with the Richmond team... no one wanted to get hurt bad for no money. I have some bad injuries from my wrestling, boxing, Thai boxing I did during and after my hockey that has kept me off the rink. I’d love to get back out but paying for gear sucks. We have a new outdoor sports court that the caps put up. I’d love to volunteer and teach but skates are too $$$ for me. I’d love to try the Mars Blade. You have helped me get a big for hockey again. Keep it up... don’t fight for free by the way.. the doctor bills are brutal. Never tell them you got hurt playing. You will have insurance denied!
