He has no reliable way out of disadvantage, horrible recovery/offstage presence in general, no way to combat disjoints, sucks against shield pressure, even his advantage state is super frail because he's so prone to getting reversaled into disadvantage. All he has going is an intimidation factor but that falls apart the moment the opponent learns one of the million ways to counter him. He's the worst character in the game for a reason

The difference is in a casual playthrough you have to actively look for the glitches in the gameboy and ds era pokemon, scarlet and violet runs like shit no matter what, and you're eventually going to encounter a glitch. They both have glitches but that doesn't make them the same. We're not going to see improvement if we don't call out what needs to be fixed, pokemon games cannot release every year

Nope, not me. Sun and Moon were the last Pokemon games I played and I think they still suck. The Pokemon? Only a handful are super memorable. I like the starter evos a lot. The Ultrabeasts are top-tier monster designs. The Gameplay? When it isn't a 15 minute cutscene, it's the most forgetful setting in the whole series. The Story? Really fascinating. I wish it went a little deeper. Team Skull were fun. The New? Very little. They replaced gyms with pretty much a raid battle and a minigame that's impossible to lose. It doesn't go through the motions as much as Sword and Shield do, so I still think they're better than that game.
