Do quiet wide receivers get the same respect as their diva counterparts?
@Taquito_Rat21 күн бұрын
Honestly, I'm not exactly sure. People loved Jerry Rice, Wes Welker, Julio Jones, Julian Edelman, Cris Carter. Ect. I but I do think we still talk about the divas a little more.
@c9manic95921 күн бұрын
Respectfully bro, you are so wrong about Nuke and Julio it is actually insane. For D-Hop has been getting press as one of the best wideouts in the league for YEARS, and he's been mostly quiet about it but a public spat with Bill O'Brien and plays like the shit he pulled on DeAngelo Hall (You showed the play but not the shit talk) have been getting publicity for years. On top of that he was widely regarded as one of the best WR's on the league during both his time on Houston and AZ. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJaaiaRor76bsJI kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJW9oaxmhJegrNU kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJbYiqhjrc-bhMk Julio Jones has had media coverage like with Shannon Sharpe and requesting out of Atlanta and was considered at times the best WR in the league as a contemporary to Calvin Johnson (who you mentioned), who was arguably an even more low-key superstar than anyone on this list, and took over as WR 1 for Roddy White, another low-key superstar. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zme7aIaKjqaJe9U If your comparison is to Divas like TO, Ocho, Dez and OB then of course they are going to seem tame in comparison. Like dude the recency bias reeks in this video. D-Hop is to Jamaar Chase and Julio is to say, Justin Jefferson. They're going to be recognized when they're great, and probably moved on from and remembered fondly by people who drafted them in fantasy. I hate to tell it to you this way man but this video is plainly, ass from an informational standpoint. You say nobody acknowledges them and then show clips of national media acknowledging them. You obviously put effort into the scripting and editing but none into the research. You're good at this bro. But do better.

@theunlikelysuccess20 күн бұрын
@@c9manic959 The point of this video was to highlight guys who I think got less attention than their counterparts but were as good or better. Julio was second to MegaTron for elite traits, then he was second to AB for showmanship, but he was second to neither in production. Even later in the 2010's, Michael Thomas and OBJ were seen as better than him by some. Appreciate the feedback even if I disagree, it helps from my end to understand what people are seeing when they watch the videos. My comps were to TO, Dez, Ochocinco, AB, and OBJ for these guys who they were easily comparable to and honestly better than for most of them (minus TO) but I get what you are saying. There is a balance I am trying to strike on how far to go down the informational rabbit hole, entertainment value, and personal bandwidth to make these. Again, I honestly appreciate the feedback.

@DeuceAlchemist What I mean is that Julio always took a back seat to AB or MegaTron when it came down to who was 'the best.' But there were years he was the #1 WR for sure. For DHop, people argued OBJ and Mike Thomas were better than him in the late 2010's, and Andre Johnson was notoriously overlooked.
