Listen tds.. this tower was op because it requires 35k AND to be level 175, the whole point was to reward high level players with the best dps tower in the game, for a big cost. I know it needed a nerf but almost half the dps?? No. Bad move. It went from the best dps tower to “another dps tower” this was too much of a nerf and most players wont even bother getting it anymore because of the expensive price. Personally, I was really looking forward to get this tower as a level 165 player because it looks like a lot of fun to use but now I’m not even going to buy it.

Know what, let me just say it. The TDS community is screwed. Almost everyone gives destructive criticism and behaves like a moron on top of harassing the devs constantly, making them less likely to respect feedback by the community, which in turn worsens the games quality. We can only fix this problem, if we all collectively stopped behaving like idiots and actually help make the game a better place. You can't keep saying it's the devs fault because really it's not. Balancing is a pain (speaking from experience) and these changed need to be careful or else they are bad, but the community makes it harder to fix the problem since of their behavior. ​​​​​@@englishdeafboy Its still not easy to balance things with multiple people, since TDS is a really layered game, making the impact harder to predict, also playtesting takes a long time, since every change needs a stat change which takes hours, also all these balancers don't work on one thing, but each on diffrent things. A lot more balancers would focus on sth like Pursuit, PVP and Molten Rework and put tower changes to the side. (Pursuit is pretty balanced) And again, the communities toxic nature makes it less likely to make changes. They had to buff towers like Engineer who didn't need a buff and undo nerfs like commander since of the backlash. Fortunatly, the game gets more balanced and im happy for it. We can however make improvements for the game quicker if we help them and be more tollerant to changes. I get why you are upset since the game is still messy, but they are going the right way. Making a game is VERY difficult, I'm speaking from experience, and balancing is one of the reasons why. In fact, I give you a test. Balance Gatling Gun. Everyone can complain, but not everyone can constructively criticise.

Tbh, they should've made the non fps mode better thanks to the damage nerf, and shouldn't of increased it's price since they already made the damage worse, I could be wrong though, I never really used Gatling Gun even though I have it, I just found it to be kinda annoying to have to constantly control it and find good placements for it, but it should be strong, It's like the most endgame tower you can buy, along with it's insane pricetag, high level requirement, and not to mention the placement limit one one... The nerf was kinda understandable, but they shouldn't of made it ALL negatives, there should've been some decent positives too, like a "re-balance" that's still a nerf, but not just a nerf For example they could've done something like: 1) Added a single level of pierce for the non fps mode 2) Increase the angles for the non fps mode, instead of decreasing them- 3) Adding a Heat Vision mode, to fix the issue with maps with lots of walls making it hard to see enemies I don't think people would've complained as much if they improved it in other areas, for the dmg nerf, assuming these were added the increased price would also make more sense.

Gatling gun on cliffs shouldn’t even be a thing tbh. They should also make the Gatling stunable too, with or without the player. I’m glad that I don’t use Gatling gun that much in the first place (I have it, but it’s way too expensive to have like xwm from tdx) the only good thing that Gatling has now is the pierce damage and flying detection which they shouldn’t even have Gatling flying detection if your not in first person. I thought golden soldier was overrated (before fallen rework) but Gatling gun is stupidly overrated. The only thing they need to buff is the later upgrades because it becomes a really good sub-dps to a less reliable dps

The reason why enemies were getting stuck on the bridge is the same reason as the old Autumn Falling bug. The bridge is modeled with the path, not separated from it. If the weld between the ground and the bridge is made incorrectly, fast enemies can get stuck on the edge of 2 welds.

Gatling getting nerfed was a canon event. A 1000 dps tower was way too good to be true, so a nerf had to happen. I think that this big of a nerf was a little overkill, but you have to admit it makes sense. We got high off of an overpowered tower that killed everything so easily that, when it was taken away all of a sudden, the community crashes out. We wouldn’t really be complaining about its dps as of now if it started off this way. Please buff just a little, devs.

I'm sorry, but 1000 dps is NOT a lot for a late game dps tower. Remember, you can only place one gatling, while you can place multiple of everything else. You can get anywhere from 1200 with turret to 6000 with REGULAR minigunner. The only thing that made gatling gunner strong was it's piercing, which should have been nerfed instrsd and the only thing the devs touched, and infinite range, both of which require constant management of the tower and without which it was basically worse ranger. Not to mention, it not only had the highest level requirement of any tower in the game, but also the highest coin cost of any tower in the game, a price only dwarfed by the Cosy of a golden crate (and even then, gatling was 70% of the cost of a g crate anyways). Now, it has less single target dps than 2 turrets and it's piercing does not make up for it. Hell, literally everything gatling gunner can do is done better by pursuit now, which is less than half the coin cost and 75 levels less to obtain.

Yeah I kind of agree, maybe the nerf was a little bit too much, but it was well deserved. Maybe they could just nerf its early game and increase prices for all levels. But now that the nerf is here, you have to use other towers instead of looking at an enemy while holding the fire button. It’s still reliable, but finally it got nerfed. And I also hope we don’t get Gatling gunner Stan’s like how we had Accelerator Stan’s, both towers are no longer dominant in the meta. Even tho accelerator got buffed a lot, when compared to when it use to rule T.D.S, its stats increased (especially damage) a lot. But now you can actually use other towers, (back then only like four towers were even useable because they others were so bad) in fact, I’m sure it was only king because it was one of the only usable DPS towers back then. OBJECTION! HOT AND UNPOPULAR TAKE this nerf was well deserved, yes it its lvl 175 requirement and costs 35k coins, but golden crate skins. Most people get them around level 200 and it costs 50k coins its a 15k coins increase yet no where near powerfull as thr gatling gun hell even the pursuit pre rework was better then half the g crate skins. Thats just my opinion with thr current balancing you can still use it preety effectively, my obly complaint is yeah the nerf was little too heavy maybe a price reduction and a slight like 50 dps increase shouls balance it up. But i do agree with the marco stuff its def hard if ur doing supports or solo in a game, i agree with that take but it was definently well deserved but a little overkill.

The Gatling Gun nerf was one of the dumbest things that TDS production did, you simply need Level 175 and 35k coins to get the Gatling Gun and receive less persuit, Level 100 Tower, if the Gatling Gun was free, it wouldn't even he complained, In a match to get 600x3 DPS on the Gatling Gun we need $243,500, an absurd amount even for Hardcore towers, to give you an idea, you can buy 1736 dps in engineer and 855x3 or 1055 dps in persuit, even if they nerf the persuit by about 40 dps max, it will still be worth having the persuit and if they nerf it even more it will look more like the tower before of the rework, in my opinion the price of the Gatling Gun should be reduced considerably to maintain the current dps or receive more dps and continue the same price. ___________(Edit: Guys, try to get this message to the paradoxum games team)

Fianlly! Someone who understands on how to use gattling gun, every single person was aaying it got worse than engineers and TURRETS. And while yes I agree the nerf on max level was rather rough, I think right now it's at perfect place, people have to understand that gattling gun was designed to be used with it's pierce, not like a turret v2. Also to clarify, I main gatling gun as my main source of dps all the time, so I'm not some hater that wanted it to get nerfed. Also having fps tower does give some skill ceiling to hkw you control the gattling gun now.

And if you want to watch instead of controlling a tower, go play something fitting your age of 7-9 years old with lots of ADHD inducing stimulations. It's not close to being useless (and not uselles as you wrote) all you have to do is just place it the way it can pierce through enemies. Again I repeat, if you want to use Gattling gun, GET GOOD TRASH.

The reason why some enemys glitched is because electro shocker gets his stun buffed for no reason becoming from a 2 seconds stun to a 3 seconds one (also slows no stun enenus by 80% permanently until they are out of range)
