@@aayantholal9394 Yeah, thats after somehow getting the same ideas as TDX and starting to just rework every single gamemode to single handedly render cheaper starter towers useless, even though they should have a purpose, in basically every mode because its overshadowed by the "reworked towers" (they're just buffs but they dont like saying that) Also, since the second halloween update of TDS, they took 3 years just to make it not halloween, and soon after frost invasion appeared. after that, it took them like another 2 years to finally introduce that new walking path of the enemies to optimize the game, and also promised towers that never came out. Like the hacker, the sentry tower, the mecha base. i can keep going, the only reason they are updating easier nowadays is because they got more devs than usual and even when they dont have that one dev that copies basically every tower concept he sees and calls it "inspired" is fired, they STILL make towers way too similar to other TD games. Mercenary is a good concept tower, but heli? it was "reworked" to be exactly like TDX, and even then, TDX is still better. im not here to say TDS is bad, or that TDS is better than another game, but the way they're going isn't looking pretty good. 2-3k players is nothing compared to what it usually had.

This is honestly… an amazing video. Love the editing, critiquing, strategy (which mainly followed the meta ((asides from chapter four)) so it’s nice to see a good player doing this), but unfortunately it lacked all the lore. Still the best video on the Halloween event, but I’d suggest reading up on the lore for the more nuanced players who are interested in the lore of the game.

Honestly man you gotta do some tdx videos. The game feels dead because there doesn't seem to be many big ccs on it. I know John is there but he's not entirely useful when it comes to making a bigger community. Someone like you or maybe Corso can help new players understand tdx, maybe make strats or maybe find more interesting things about it. That's just my thoughts though

I think tds night 3 was kinda perfect example of defend the center where the primordial drakobloxxer can kill you when u get it to its second phase whereas it walks around the map in its first phase. This made the fight actually fun and tense if u did not kill it fast enough with the mix of the normal path system (I'm not looking at the replies no more cuz it's a waste of time)

tds night 3 drakobloxer actually has only like 2 set paths and alternates them like the winter event boss did last year. Only difference being the paths are invisible. This explains why it starts getting priority only later into the battle.

idea: defend the centers could have bosses with rlly high health that go directly to ur base, but the base has turrets that you need to aim at the boss in order to move or teleport it away to give u enough time to fight, and of u weren’t focusing he would just one shot ur base since u didnt move him away.

I beat chapter 3 nightmare with xwm, barracks, and scarecrow without knowing, because I accidently did nightmare and relised too late but still won, just place all barracks and max all of them 5-2 then spam XWM 5-2 and use baits and if you want use toxicnator and that's all you need, and after you beat the final boss it's still not over keep spamming xwm

that's because a wave on chapter 4 lasts like 7 minutes. Not to mention TDX and TDS health scaling is different, a normal has 4 hp(TDS) while a zombie has 8 hp (TDX)

My ratings on the chapters Ch1 - 7/10; it does what it’s supposed to do (be easy) Ch2 - 6/10; out of all of them it kind of felt the weirdest; don’t get me wrong, the Engineer was cool, but it suffered from the same problem as the current Christmas Chapter II where normal is fairly easy and nightmare is a billion steps up from that, and we also had to deal with chapter II for a long time as they were working on chapter 3, which eventually made it repetitive to grind out the battlepass Ch3 - 11/10; holy shit it was fun, even though nightmare was-a nightmare. I’ll remember this similarly to how I remember Polluted Wastelands I/II. Ch4 - 3/10; yeah, we all know why…took all the parts from chapter 3 that were fun and made them unfun, and as mentioned in the video, is enjoyable until your halfway through Corrupted Apex Predator’s health…from there it’s just a snooze fest

honestly even including cutscenes, this event is better than TDS's. chapters 1 and 4 were kinda whatever, but 2 with its INSANE final wave+ fun design on nightmare and 3 with its almost PvZ-like gameplay blow Tds's act 2 and 3 out of the water. The act 1 in the TDS event was also really boring with its enemies and was over in like 10 minutes.

Night 1-2 can be beaten solo using barracks. Night 2 specifically requires 3x cash crate, missile trooper, operator, edj, barracks. It is harder and took me 3x retries for Night 2 since I need to quickly replace EDJ and Missile Trooper for the boss
