This is the math for whether Elite should've gotten the level 5 DJ. To get a level 5 DJ from level 3, you need to spend 13,000 dollars. To get a level 3 DJ from nothing, you need to spend 4,250 dollars. 4,250 dollars = 10% discount 13,000 dollars = 10% discount 17,250 dollars = 20% discount Accelerator's TOTAL price is 53700 dollars so we can run 2 different cases with a level 3 and 5 DJ. Since level 5 makes double as a level 3, and you lose money when you buy it, the equation -4250 + x = -17250 + 2x works and x * 10 would be how much you spend since you're saving on a percentage value of 10% and 20% and x and 2x are just the ratios. -4250 + x = -17250 + 2x 13000 + x = 2x x = 13000 It's actually $130,000 to use a level 5 DJ, All of my other calculations I think were correct.
