Not a requirement. Some bands prefer to play by listening to eachother as opposed to a click. It opens the door for more intentional worship a lot of times by allowing bands to play with time. Down choruses that slow down, builds that speed up, etc. A lot of musicians don’t need cues either because they know the songs like the back of their hands.

Do you get a mix sent to you by the engineer? I find it so hard to get nice levels on our Beginner P16 units - just can't split things up like I want and get nice processing like I want like drum and vocal reverb, and stereo imaging so it's not a wall of sound that sound like mush in my ears.

Mix will be done by a monitor engineer dedicated to doing in ear mixes

Honestly, this mix is pretty packed, it sounds like you'd take the main stereo mix that goes to the audience, then just bump up the guitar and tweak vocals a bit. Which is probably not something realistic to get yourself on P16 or similar. Bands like this have a separate monitor console, separate monitor engineer and lots of experience.

We have a monitor engineer building our mix based on our tweaks and preferences. Mine is typically everything with a slight bump to guitars, and the other guitarist panned to stage perspective
