The Stars goal horn is just the pure embodiment of hype. It's as if Pantera put an entire monster energy can in musical form. The horn itself is also perfect. Loud, powerful, and unstoppable. God I love this team.

When they started using that song years ago I first thought what the hell is this crap. Then they kept winning and the crowd kept going nuts and now in my mind chelsea dagger is the quintessential goal song that all other goal songs must strive to live up to.

In my opinion the goal horn + song of Seattle is at number 1 because the horn resembles the sound of a cargo ships horn and the song "Lithium" was made by the Seattle based band Nirvana. Putting Dallas at #1 is a good call though because the song was made by the Texan based band Pantera and the horn is one of the most different ones in the league. All in all a good goal horn ranking *chefs kiss*

I like that you sticked to your methodology. I agree with your top 2, but to me NYR, Boston & San Jose complete the top 5. Even if I hate the leafs I disagree with your assessment of their song, it fits their franchise and their crowd really well, but the horn itself is garbage (same generic goal horn half the league is using, St-Louis, Colorado, Tampa, etc etc). I like unique horns above everything else, this is why I like the kings, the jets, the Habs & the ducks goal horns more than you do. Eerie horns are fine too, like Carolina's one.

Okay so this is a W. Here are some things I agree and disagree with. I'd say the flames should be top 5, the horn is top 3 in the league, followed along with ACDC and crowd participation, you cant go wrong with it. Columbus should be top 10, the horn has so much energy, the song is spectacular and the CANNON I agree that Washington should bring back the siren. Finally somebody that agrees that the sharks horn is underrated. The bruins goal song is WAY BETTER and WAY MORE ICONIC than the Kraken. Isles and Kraken shouldn't be top 5, maybe not even top 10. Player songs are TRASH I agree, Florida needs Sweetness back, Vancouver needs Holiday back, LA needs I love LA back. I think Nashville is a good horn, not sure if it'd be number 1 tho, top 3-5. In my opinion I think Dallas' song doesn't have enough energy or replayability to be 10/10. Chicago's horn would be 10/10 if they didn't move it. I liked it when it was louder.
