This is a good example of giving the juror what they want or need to hear. Eliza made it very clear that she wanted an apology, and Twila refused. I think the apology Chris gave was pretty insincere, but at least he did apologize. This is just unbelievably boneheaded on Twila's part.

Chris won this season due to cat fights, and keeping a level head. He sleazed his way to Final 2 and he continued in these speeches in order to win. For everyone who thinks Twila deserves to win, you look at the game only. I see this as an example of Hantz in the finale, if you do not connect with the people you kick out, they won't vote for you.

Eliza is a queen. Twila treated her like dirt the entire season and she definitely deserved that. Even with a million dollars on the line, Twila couldn't own up to the fact that she treated people like dirt. I'm glad Chris won. He played very well.

Chris could have won either way: if he went with Twila and Scout OR Eliza and Julie. If he went to the final three with Julie and Eliza, assuming he won the final challenge, and took Eliza to the final two over Julie. Chris would have won. Sarge, Chad, Scout, and Twila probably would have easily voted for Chris. Ami would have voted for Eliza undoubtedly. Leann and Julie are a bit of a grey area but I could have seen them more than likely voting for Chris. No way Chris could have won against Julie. Chris would have gotten votes from Sarge and Chad undoubtedly. But Ami, Leann, Eliza (she said on the commentary), and even Twila (she also said so in the commentary) would have voted for Julie. Scout is a gray area, but she wouldn’t have really tipped the scale. Now back to the final immunity challenge with the archer endurance thing if it was Julie, Eliza, and Chris. Now, Eliza might not have lasted too long on the challenge given the frail state of her body, she might not have been able to hold the arrow up too long. Julie probably would have put up a good fight because she has more muscle than Eliza, and she’s got some athletic ability that gives her the endurance strength. BUT Chris might have had the advantage over Julie in the challenge with his work background in highway repair (handling heavy equipment and being on unstable surfaces for long periods of time). So it would have been interesting to see.

That's not important. Eliza was the juror voting and Twila was the defendant standing in her judgement. Chris understood this simple point, adapted perfectly to the terms, and received the bounty for his troubles. Twila did the exact opposite, and the jury popped her ass full of caps for her troubles.
