The Fantasia was played flawlessly, induced a meditative state in me.

The Thomas Baltzar prelude, in particular, is a gem. Very little music from this virtuoso composer survives and, as far as I know, this particular piece is only preserved rather haphazardly in the 17th-century Playford print. You really breathe life into it with this absolutely beautiful interpretation.

We are so fortunate, here in the Bay Area, to be able to hear Elizabeth play with several performing groups, and as a soloist. Surely, she is one of the finest violinists in the world. That is not a parochial, "home town" comment. To hear her is to be convinced.

Elizabeth is such a gift to us all. One can barely begin to sing her praises loudly and far enough.

Before this video, I already searched out every blumenstock video I could find on KZbin, and every recording that had her playing on Spotify! Yes I’m a fan!
