I'm from New York and when I was in London I rode the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Central London. This does not look like the regular underground train with the curved doors. Why is that?

Elizabeth Line Class 345

Elizabeth Line has seen more and more people using it since it first opened in May this year and Bond Street station that opened on the 24th October. Plus the last remaining Class 315 are now heading for scrap which today was the Class 315 farewell tour. RIP Class 315. 1980-2022.

Class 315 is old it used to be London overground from the Lee Valley line then the Romford to Upminster line then TFL rail and now its gone for good

Yep. Plus the Class 315 were occasionally used that went as far as Braintree, Southend Victoria, Southminster, Chelmsford and Colchester. When First Great Eastern was around.
