Kevin Hendryx Yes she was!!!! Allen Ludden called Elizabeth the "Queen" of Password. She sooooo deserved that moniker! Practically every contestant that plays with her wins! I wish sooooo much that I could've played s game with her. Elizabeth was and is fabulous!!!! I love and miss her soooooo much!

GSN has made it very hard for celebs today.. It allows us to see how intelligent "celebrities" used to be. Cultural context: Elizabeth Montgomery and Jim Backus were concurrently on two extremely successful shows at this moment, she, on "Bewitched," (ABC) he, on "Gilligan's Island" (CBS). This game show, hosted by Allen "Mr. Betty White" Ludden, started out on CBS, and ended up on ABC.

Liz would get so excited at times that she'd use her hands. In giving clues for LOVE, she almost slipped. 🙂 On BEWITCHED, we can see her doing crossword puzzles on a couple of ocassions. That may be where she honed her word skills.
