Or the kid might've ended up ghastly, LOL! Seriously, I have seen the most gorgeous couples have average looking to downright hideous children because genetics just work like that (sometimes taking the flaws of a couple rather than the best attributes). I've never seen a not-so-gorgeous couple have beautiful children, though, but it probably does happen. Usually it's the average looking couple that have the best-looking children or if one of the spouses is above average in looks the children come out exceptionally good looking.

Elizabeth's best performance. Mike Todd was killed during production, which devastated Taylor. The lines in which she expresses sympathy for Big Daddy are spoken with personal feeling. She asked for time off after Mike's funeral, but MGM threatened to sue her if she did not finish the picture. Supporting players are all Grade-A.
