I am far more obsessed th anything remotely Renaissance, I love everything PBS has from BBC. I also watch The Tudors and The Borgias on netflix a lot. (Yes I've always been "one of those people" that enjoy watching all my favorites over and over. Hell, I still watch Marry Poppins too.) After some research I noticed the instrumental essence of this song in The Tudors as well. I was most certain of it during the last of the first season when King Henry and Ann Boleyn are having the hot-ass fornicating scene in the woods. ;) The drums and strong bass violin (which I used to play in school) come across super intense and I LOVE IT! I've been thinking of having the music played for my wedding ceremony by the church's orchestra...
