I mean, Alexis literally lied about Kristina's paternity because she realized how much falling for and hooking up with Sonny was a terrible idea. Ned was posing as her father for the first few years of her life and the only reason Alexis admitted the truth to Sonny was because Kristina was sick, dying, and needed a biological donor to save her life (which was also how Sonny confessed to being the father of Sam's unborn child at the time to help save Kristina, which is wild because nobody at the time knew that the baby was related to Kristina on BOTH side of her family)...
