You totally misjudged this town. You saw very little of it, and what you saw was older parts of town. You didn't even see downtown, which is where people go to have fun. It has restaurants, bars, a coffee shop, unique little stores & boutiques, a brewery, food trucks, etc. All within walking distance of each other. You also didn't see our industrial area or how many factories we now have. You went through older parts of town so you missed newer homes & apartments. And we certainly do have crime. Lots more than you think. We have murders, burglaries, drugs, vandalism, theft, an occasional high speed police chase, shootings, assaults and so on. Also, we're not all like that man at the red light. The majority of us don't have that small town, up in everybody's business attitude. You really were far off from the reality of what this town is like. So please don't be so quick to judge by such a short drive. On a note of praise, you recorded my niece getting into her car at her house on your video. That was a pleasant surprise. Give our town another drive thru sometime and check out the areas I mentioned above.

23:02 issue might be horrible headlight design on that cadillac certainly confusing to look at. You cant see his blinker at that angle, but you can see his driver side headlight brighter like if it was on. Horrible engineering on those angles

Canadian born but my mom is american and grew up in e town, used to go there every summer to visit gramma, she lived in indian hills and you actually passed the entrance to that neighborhood a little bit after the walgreens at the beginning. I remember the town mall is spelled with an e at the end and theres a really nice country club somewhere out there.

Dude I'm glad I don't pay your insurance premiums because you were literally driving in the middle of the road on streets in subdivision. My daughter even noticed that, lol. I would love to move to Kentucky.. or Nebraska it's really nice in both those States. When I traveled with my band when I was younger I traveled the country there was quite a few States out there that I'd love to stay in. Unfortunately right now I'm in Connecticut and it sucks.. worst place to live in the country

Really? I have heard Cos Cob, Riverside, Greenwich, and Westport are nice. I know of folks up on Orchard and beautiful homes there. I respectfully disagree that any place could be worse statewide than Alabama, the armpit & cesspool of America. Just my opinion.

This is just a perfect example of why you should never move to these backwards small towns. If you lived there we would run and tell everyone he knows about how you ran miss johnson off the road.. and you would start getting stares and trash thrown on your car and endless passive aggressive behaviors forever.

The problem with Kentucky vs other southern states is the finances. Kentucky has way too much debt and pension obligations. Maybe you could start adding state fiscal health information to your videos. It's very important when choosing a place to move! That said Kentucky is priced below its neighbors and we're still considering it

Kentucky beats Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas. They are a lot worse. Kentucky is a blessing compared to those places.

@@hoopty. All the major ratings agencies rank Kentucky in the bottom 5 of their fiscal health list. All the states you mentioned are well above Kentucky in ranking. I'm talking about the State government's finances, not individual finances. Kentucky as a state is on the brink of bankruptcy, barely better off than California and NY.

I live in Florida, and I I am considering moving to a state with a moderate or low cost of living, but I also do not want to move to a state that is worse related to the health system, the basic education system, etc because I do not think for myself, I think for my son and his needs. We like Florida a lot, the only thing that pushes me to leave here is the high cost of rent and the cost of buying a home, too high, way overpriced. So considering a state equal to or better than this one, but with a modest/low cost of living, and with the rest that I wrote above. Any recommendation? Thanks 😊 @Autodidactia
