Hi! Thanks for the comment! You can probably add the halftones dots the same way it’s added to the front text like in this video but there would be a few extra steps as the shadows are a blend and you’d have to unite it to make it a simple shape. Hope that makes sense.

@@micainreallife7953 you have to make sure the objects in each layer are either grouped or a compound path. I apologize I didn’t explain that in the video very well. Hey ! Glad you liked it. The masking is a bit more of an advanced step, it took me awhile to understand masking. I have always just done a lot of trial and error, along with looking at other tutorials out there to get other techniques. It takes a lot of practice, I've been doing this for 5 years now so some of this is ingrained in my brain. But yes, lots of practise!

I’m assuming you mean your text isn’t distorting into the shape. You have to make sure in your layers panel that the text layer is below the shape layer. If you still have questions please send me a msg on Instagram and I’ll try help!

If the text is still a font you can click ALT and use the arrow keys to move the text up. If the text is expanded to a shape you can select the part you want to move with the direct select tool and move up. If you still can’t figure it out send me a msg on Instagram and I will try help. :)

You mean my workspace correct? Go up to window then click workspace and there is pre-made workspace options to chose from. You can also create your own. I’ll do a tutorial on this.
