This is literally the only Bionicle set I still have fully intact because of how elegant the design is. Everything else, I modified or scrapped for MOC parts.

+Panrahk It's the same with me. The only G1 set I've got that are 100% original are Stars Takanuva. Why? 'Cos it's so terrible I never improved it, and the parts are 100% useless for other mocs. The limbs are broken, the head is... annoyingly common, and the mask is something I've got about 5 times.

I think I like the blue Jetrax T6 better than the yellow one. Why? Because in the yellow one the red and blue pins are more noticeable and it kinda breaks the colorscheme, while in the blue one, those pins can be considered part of the colorscheme and it looks fantastic. Still, both sets look pretty cool.

I got this in a Bionicle Job Lot on Ebay, £100-ish for the whole bunch of items, with a Jetrax T6 as a bonus. It had 6 or 7 of the Hero Factory Breakout Heroes, it had around 9 villians as well (Joker came with it and I kinda bundled him in with the villians lol) so I got a lot for my moneys worth.

I do believe the long black axel at the end of the cockpit is use at the time lego didn't have shorter length part. Overall the set is beautiful one of the first I manage to pick up while ago.

Can you do the "motorcycle version" of this. Might want to get multiple of this set so I can make the normal and motorcycle version. Also, what if you replace the gears of the set, would that make the gears work better

Huh, I've never heard about the dust impairing gear functionality. Do you know any other sets where this can be a problem? Also, "red refrigerator". XD haha! I love it!

I noticed it made my 2015 Onua's gear function not quite work because of extra friction on the ball joint that provides the friction in the arms due to the dust. I carefully forced the function slowly and that cleared the dust away, and it worked fine after that.

If I ever get the blue one I'm gonna try to order all the blue parts in yellow, so I can rebuild it in "gold" if I want to. I think a golden variation is cool, but for a collector I don't want to get 2 of the exact same giant model just because one of them has a cooler colour.

The Jetrax T6 is incredible. Great functions and a great design. I actually like the new Antroz. One of my favourites alongside Thornatus V9 and Skopio XV-1.

Still can't believe I have this set and it still works. I also had the rockoh t3 but my young me liked to pretend that the rockoh was destroyed and still to this day the t3 is broken and put away 😞😞😞

Are the builds identical or are there some differences between the blue and gold one? In other words, if you just replaced the pieces on the blue one with the yellow pieces, you essentially have both.

I loved this set when it came out. Always thought it was way cooler than the Axalara. This was one of the few '08 sets I picked up. Also, it's amazing that I never knew the top canopy could snap into place. I always just lowered it down... I feel pretty stupid now :P
